Who was the member who lived in Arizona. He sold artifacts and Indian styled jewelry. He used to post photos of him carrying a huge number of guns and huge guns concealed to show his methods.

Still here, bud, just not posting as much. Out here in the opposite side of the state from you!

UXB is good people. Haven't seen him since I left Cincy. He and I went to Knob Creek together.

And I still have a t-shirt with AudioStar's girl on it from when she got arrested or something. Big Grin

I miss ole Chris Swimm.

S.O. Interceptor

It's been more than eighteen yeas, but as I recall, he got taken to task by me for excessive profanity. I, myself, can be rather profane at times and I do not consider it to be a character defect if used judicially, but there was a period on the board many years ago, when some members were slinging it hard enough and often enough to make a sailor blush. S.O. Interceptor, as I recall, was not particularly bad in this respect, but there was one occasion where I called him on it, and I think that's the last we saw of him. That may be a coincidence, but I think not.

Who was the member who had the avatar with a woman's red lips.

I think his screen name started with A and had maybe 5 or 6 letters.

He may have been in West Virginia.

I'm racking my brain trying to remember.

There was a GrandPotter - a woman - who had such an avatar, but it was two women. Agony's was that movie poster of Lolita.

He didn't post much anymore, after his wife very sadly passed.

I managed and modded for several, a lot of fun, and a lot of not so much fun after a while.

At first, hopeful that many good people came together, many of varied mindsets and worldviews and more having their horizons brodened.

And then came the dark side, and the horizons were narrowed and diminished, and many fell to the ugliness that came...

We didn't know. We did not quite comprehend.

And here is SIGforum, a tiny oasis in a worldwide dessert.

Quality. Indeed.

Happy to be here.

fully understand,

I was asked to Mod a section on Gunboards , by Vic, long before they sold out ,

probably should have not turned that down, but did do to time constraints, and that forum is no where near what it used to be,

ditto CSP, I reached out to Para a few years ago for some advice, and ended up becoming admin / defacto owner,

however I am not an IT guy, and the orginal owner had the site on her personal server,
she went radio silent, and I decided to stop payment on the site host,

so it is now gone,

it had its share of issues, but the biggest was the abuses of going unmoderated for a few years, literelly, and a few right sided guys and a few left sided communists arguing back and forth everywhere on teh forum, ran a lot of non political members off, , in addition to the normal attrition of members via other interests and death, had the active membership down to a minimum,

so another one bit the dust,

and Para, you may be tough, but this is your house, be a bastard all you want, just remember many of us appreciate what you do to keep this oasis running

Still alive and kickin'. Do you ever see any of the Western PA guys? Vluc or Sarge or Remsig?

Also, anyone remember Jane? I feel like she had a 239 she carried.

Dude up and retired a few years ago. Hopefully he's living his best life!
I just sent him a text to remind him his "invisible friends" still exist Wink
