In my OP of this thread I commented that Cholula Green Pepper might even be good on vanilla ice cream. I finally tried that yesterday, on Häagen-Dazs Vanilla. I liked it, but my cousins around KC probably wouldn’t. They might like the much milder Cholula Chile Lime on ice cream though. Serious about crackers

When I was a kid living in Thailand, I became acquainted with the *original* Sriracha hot sauce. I now keep some in my pantry at all times (available at Asian food stores. And now, of course, via Amazon). You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless. I love a good hot sauce. I've tried several in this thread. I recently finished a bottle of Zatarain's Cajun hot sauce. A very great flavor! This is my new favorite. https://www.amazon.com/Zatarai...Bottle/dp/B06XJ35D2C

Between Tabasco Chipotle, Chohula Green Pepper, Franks and Sriracha, I am covered. All the Chohula stuff is great. Different sauces for different food. There is usually 3 or 4 bottles of other stuff in the refrig. Always trying new ones. Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

My favorite hot sauce remains Pico Pica. I currently have a bottle of El Pato Jalapeño for those foods where a green sauce is more appropriate, but it’s too mild to suit me. I’ll use it if it’s all there is, but I’m not a fan of Louisiana style hot sauces. I just flat don’t like Sriracha _______________________________________________________ despite them

I will have to give the green stuff a try. Just recently discovered this ketchup, it is really good on cold meatloaf sandwiches, and french-fries. ____________________________ NRA Life Member, Annual Member GOA, MGO Annual Member

I go through a 5oz bottle of Cholula Green Pepper hot sauce pretty fast. I aim to keep half a dozen bottles on hand. A 5oz bottle costs me $9 + tax. That’s $1.80/oz before tax. I just discovered that I can buy a 64oz bottle on Amazon for $30.71 (Prime). That’s $0.48/oz. Guess what my next Amazon order is going to be. $9 for a 5oz. bottle? My wife was just shopping the other day and picked up a 5oz. bottle of it for about $3 (Walmart). It too is good stuff Maynard. Here is a two bottle pack for $5.47 https://www.walmart.com/ip/2-P...REEN-PEPPER/47236169 ____________________________ NRA Life Member, Annual Member GOA, MGO Annual Member

I just received my second half-gallon bottle of Cholula Green Pepper hot sauce from Amazon. So economical ($21.27), and convenient. Lordy, I love the flavor of this hot sauce, and use lots of it. I keep some in an old 12oz French’s Mustard bottle for convenient dispensing. The photo below is actually of my first half-gallon bottle, when I still had several 5oz bottles on hand. Glad that I don’t have to bother with those little things anymore! Serious about crackers

Since this thread started a year ago, Cholula Green has been my 'go to' hot sauce with Cajun Sunshine by Try Me a close second. Both are very tasty. Jim ________________________ "If you can't be a good example, then you'll have to be a horrible warning" -Catherine Aird
