The particle/droplet argument for wearing masks is only valid if it takes an aggregate of exposure to infect. Since it only takes a single virus strand ( or whatever it’s called) to infect and the virus is airborne, none of the masks the public wear a is effective. While theoretically true, that is not accurate in the real world. Viral dose makes a HUGE difference in the likelihood of becoming ill. That is true of all pathogens, not just Covid. | |||
