Yeah, I got it too. About as sincere as Weinstein's "apology," IMO.

No money from me.

It really could be a sincere apology from Dom and the company but it doesn't really matter. Ol' Scotty boy is the giant douche and since they can't divorce themselves from the owner they are going to suffer for it.

Did anyone else got a response from Scott himself? I know it's a computer generated email but the company must have felt the backlash as they went to the trouble of "getting a response" from scott.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Never heard of them, or him, before. He is truly an idiot. Will not ever consider buying any of their products!

One would think that someone in his position would be at least intelligent enough to keep his personal opinions to himself, especially if they reflect such bad shit towards the customers.

Why should she be arbitrarily be punished for the stupidity of her husband?

That doesn't meet he definition of "arbitrary." She chose to marry him for better or worse.

That said, I don't think she should be fired either. She will absolutely suffer consequences both personally, likely professionally, and financially as a result of her chosen spouse's idiotic actions.

Roughly HALF of America is left-leaning, and the other half right-leaning. This is obvious to everyone. So, why, if you're a person of interest, would you alienate half of Americans with political commentary? Why?

I'm not the brightest bulb, but I learned at a very young age that you're far better off not making comments about controversial subjects if you're going to be in any kind of spotlight.

All of these immature, uneducated actresses and musicians who spout off like brain-washed children about politics alienate half of America's population every time they do so. This is why I don't watch movies or TV anymore, and most of the music I listen to is by obscure musicians who's politics I know nothing about.

Lastly, who did this idiot think was buying his vests??? What a tool.

Of all the enemies the American citizen faces, the Democrat Party is the very worst.

I got an apology from the dude too! Fittingly, it had gone into my spam folder.
And I once wanted a vest from him. After looking over his website, I fould a lot of his stuff was half price on Sierra Trading Post.

He didn't make a mistake, as in being momentarily inattentive and caused a fender bender.

Sigmanic got it right. He meant what he said, and the only reason he apologized is for the flak he and his company are getting.

A fake apology is worse than remaining silent.

Thats too bad. I have a coat made by Scottevest, and like it. It was a special edition where Scottevest teamed up with thriller author Brad Thor. Good coat, bad company.

Kinda like chipotle. Food is amazing, but they are run by socialists and the majority of employees are hipsters.

This is the primary portion of this guy's quote that people found particularly offensive. Do you feel that he simply made a mistake when he posted it on his Facebook page? I don't.

“I laugh to myself, and tell them that we primarily advertise on Fox because we find their viewership to be extremely gullible and much easier to sell than other networks," he wrote in part. “I get to tell them they are f***ing idiots while getting rich off them.”
