Wilkinson made it clear that she would do it again.

“Absolutely, yes, I would have done the same thing again,” the Red Hen owner said. “We just felt there are moments in time when people need to live their convictions. This appeared to be one.”

Fine, have every known GOP politician go in there and force her to confront and ask to leave everyone of them. You want to cause a stink and make your convictions known, go right ahead, your whole day, whole week, will be filled with turning away customers. Half your turns will be spent confronting customers and refusing business.

Your staff has issues with it's customers, fine, if you're not going to show us the door, we'll order, fiddle with our food and leave without eating. Oh, we'll pay but, you don't think we're gonna eat any of it, knowing one of your staff has likely spit in it.

You're being to nice. Order and leave without paying or before your food arrives. Hit them where it hurts.

“I have a business, and I want the business to thrive."

You don't make your business thrive by alienating over 50% of the population.

Don't forget that the entire quote is:

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

When I watch the current political insanity and consider its natural consequences, that quote from Jefferson comes immediately to mind, with its implied costs. I view it as a necessary form of population control, but wonder whether or not I would be one of the survivors. My conclusion, so far, is that I don't really care, so bring it on.

Pity I’m not stuck in DC any more.
I’d go in order a meal, then mix in a dead housefly.

I be happy if it started with the blood of tyrants first, and when we run out of tyrants then we can pick a few patriots...

There's a fact of business, if you let your politics known you'll loose half the customers. In this case let's hope so.

Of all things, Ms Wilkinson is listed as the Executive Director of Lexington's revitalization organization, seeking to bring business and development to downtown. . . . has a funny way of doing it.

Her contact information is: swilkinson@mainstreetlexington.org

The board of directors is found here:
Link

It looks like her Brain, Child Magazine has no email - maybe I just missed it.

I do wonder amidst their articles on raising children whether they somehow missed the lesson on tolerance and how to avoid raising a bigot.

This one's a real expert about a lot of things she seems to know very little about.

I disagree. You are assuming both sides are equally willing to do something about their beliefs. I think they’ll lose more than they gain on this one.

It’s ridiculous. I never thought I’d say this but the treatment of Trump, his administration, family and voters has lead me to firmly believe that this country can not and will not survive. The left is absolutely unreasonable and becoming more and more hostile every day. It’s getting damn near time for the adults to take back control.

They are TOLD by their handlers to be afraid. The crisis of the week, the faux outrage issues that the media spreads at the hands of their masters, have told gay people that Trump hates them. They have talking points. They are all rooster crows, sun comes up, therefore the rooster had to have made the sun come up, points. None are true. I often point out how the left LOVED Trump until they found out he was a serious threat to winning the election on a platform that didn't favor tyranny.

And that is giving the owner credit that any of this even happened. Most likely, I'd venture to say this whole uneasy gay story was ginned up after she realized that she has stepped off in it.

Threads like this make me a bit uncomfortable because I read reactions to the acts of the intolerant Left that sound just like them. All those companies who supply the Red Hen Lex are blameless. We’re better than they are; never forget that.
