Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Hundreds of people, representing several different groups, gathered in Lexington Saturday for demonstrations sparked by the actions of a restaurant owner.

Nearly everyone who came out for a series of rallies was there to show support for President Trump, after the owner of the Red Hen asked his chief spokesperson to leave the restaurant more than a week ago.

"That was the straw that broke the camel's back and set us off and made us say 'we've got to come down to this town," explained Douglas Thompson of "Bikers For Trump,"

Also on hand were members of a group called The Patriot Picket, a group that primarily advocates for Second Amendment Rights

Many police officers won't eat in restaurants at all or only in ones where they can watch the food being prepared. There are worse things than being asked to leave, like getting your food with extra special sauce.

“Give me a double bacon cheeseburger.”
[into mic] “Double baco cheeseburger. It's for a cop.”
“What the hell's that all about? You gonna spit in it now?”
”No, I just told him that so he makes it good.”
[into mic]“Don't spit in that cop's burger.”
“Yeah, thanks.”
“Roger, holding the spit.”

So Saturday there was one person on the street supporting the Red Hen while hundreds showed up to support President Trump.

Thanks SDY. I think the left may have a problem.

I predict full bookings won't last long.
The excitement will die down, and the SJWs will find another shiny object to follow.

I read somewhere that it was a private party booking. Doesn't look like a very big place to begin with might only seat 50.

I've said this from the beginning; when this all dies down, NO ONE will go there and the place will close.

I give them till Halloween at most. Maybe much sooner.

I dunno. The new Supreme Court term starts first Monday in October. They have to eat somewhere.
