I have been getting the shots regularly over the past 10 years. I understood the idea that there were different variants and they were guessing at what the most likely one would be. However, I have to admit that after the Covid vaccine nonsense, and all of the lying about vaccine effectiveness, side effects and boosters, I am just not that trusting in the system anymore. I occasionally got sick with or without the vaccine, and I suppose that going forward I will also, regardless of my decision to continue getting them. Calgary Shooting Centre

The only thing I have to go by is my experience. I used to get the flu once every 2 or 3 years for a long time. Roughly 30+ years ago I started getting the flu shot and haven't had it since. Dumb ass luck? Could be, who knows? With that history, I'm sure as hell not going to stop getting the shot. I’ve been ambivalent to taking the flu shot over the years. Prior to COVID, I had been taking the shot because they made it easy to do at work during an annual healthcare fair the company puts on. Never really have seen a difference between years where I have and have not taken the shot. I just don’t get sick either way. Now after the Government, CDC, NIH and even local hospitals COVID deceptions I am done with the Flu shot. I no longer trust the government with my healthcare advice or recommendations. I am skeptical about their eagerness to blend COVID vaccines with Flu shots, so that’s it. I am done with flu shots. “We’re in a situation where we have put together, and you guys did it for our administration…President Obama’s administration before this. My doc suggested to space 2 weeks or more, although there's no evidence of negative reactions if you get them the same day. Wondering about the need for an appointment. I waltzed in, filled out the form, got the flu jab and was out in 15 minutes. They have it down now where you wonder if they actually gave the shot as there's zero pain. Arm's not sore, worked out at the gym, and no reaction. Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks. Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools. I got my senior-strength flu shot yesterday. “New Yorkers have been urged to get their flu jab ‘as soon as possible’ as the state grapples with nearly four times as many cases as last year. The New York Department of Health described the current outbreak as 'early and aggressive', and warned that it showed no signs of slowing. …” Full DailyMail article: https://mol.im/a/11291019 Serious about crackers

I can take or leave it. I've had the same results with or without it, no flu. It comes down to cleanliness and exposure. That said, I'm starting to feel run down and it just went through my wife and kids. My wife got hers at CVS yesterday-no cost. I tried to get mine at the VA yesterday morning since I was there for a lab draw, but I was there too early. They start around 8AM, but I simply hate to wait for anything. Went to my closest Publix this morning, walked in and the pharmacist gave me the paperwork, I filled it out, waited maybe 5 minutes, she gave me the shot and I came home, No cost. I remember when I used to get sick after these shots, sorta like a mild form of flu. The docs say it is NOT the flu and the whateveritwas always passed in a day. For the last 10-15 years, just get one and have no problems. Bob

I've gotten the flu shot for at least twenty years. I've had the flu and I've lost friends to it, so I get the shot. As long as it's a conventional shot, I'll continue to get it; once they change it to a mRNA formulation like the Covid shots, I'll be done. After everything that's come out about the Covid mRNA shots, I won't be allowing that crap to be put into me.
