You must be new to politics. McConnell is a lame duck senator. If he died today, and the Kentucky governor appointed a replacement, it would be tied up in court past the general election. A zero sum gain. ________________ People hate you. Train like it.

you keep bring up "faking has death". That is highly unlikely. So if he were incapacitated and removed from being a senator tomorrow and in a couple weeks Thune is compelled to bring the filibuster thing up in the senate what would happen to his vote? It would be one less no vote would it not? I do not know how it works. But guessing while mitch is still propped up it makes Trumps life more difficult and we know that is what the likes of him's mission is and always has been. He hates our President. Yep. Faking his death/life. That’s exactly what many of the conspiracy buffs are alleging. Could be the reason why I keep bringing it up. But in most everything, you believe everything is about you. If it doesn’t apply to you, then it doesn’t apply to you. Got it. This is a huge conspiracy to do what they have already been doing. ________________ People hate you. Train like it.

I don't know about your jibberish. But can you answer the question please? It is pretty clear and simple. "Practice like you want to play in the game"

Again, you must be new to politics. Nobody in Washington wants the filibuster removed. Except on the extreme sides. The filibuster ensures that nothing gets through to make major changes to the grift. Boiling frog, thousand cuts and whatnot. But, it does make for a straw man argument to prop up a theory. Frankly, your story has changed so much I don’t know what you believe. Except that it will be the opposite of whatever everyone else thinks. Two days ago, you made an ass of yourself about a Scott Jennings quote. When you got called out over it, you immediately doubled down…..after supposedly seeing a single news clip. Yep. ________________ People hate you. Train like it.

Why would Jennings fake it? He knows McConnell is on his way out, either way, and Jennings is a fairly young man with a long career in front of him. Why would he sabotage his own career, and his personal life, for a short term ruse? .

Agreed, his credibility is his strong point, what makes him valuable as the anti-socialist on the CNN panel, helping them to get people to tune in... at least that seems to be part of it. Can anyone else see the Rats wheeling McConnell into the Senate to give a McCain Thumbs down on the Save Act vote.... If the Act passes now theres no doubt that courts will give injunctions to stop it before November making getting SCOTUS to let it go difficult and Blue States screaming they can't enact it in that short of a time. Like Iran and Democrats and R-rats, time is on their side....

I was referring to the picture and statement, not Jennings. ________________________________________________________ It is long past time for a Convention of States. The Founding Fathers gave us this tool to fix an out of control government and we need to use it.

The dems want the filibuster gone, and they plan to kill it as soon as they gain a majority in the Senate. The minority party never wants it gone. A party with a very strong majority doesn't care because they can squash it. But the Republicans with a majority are afraid to kill the filibuster because they'd have to become responsive to the voters' wishes. Today, they can blame those rascally Dems for opposing progress.

According to this Yahoo article from yesterday, he’s been moved from the hospital to a rehab facility. Michelle Stein Sun, July 26, 2026 at 8:35 AM CDT Mitch McConnell's staff just released a health update in a new statement amid the Republican Senator's six-week hospital stay. On Saturday, July 25, David Popp, a spokesperson for McConnell, shared a statement with The Washington Post. "The Senator continues to meet with staff regarding Senate and Kentucky business, including discussions on defense appropriations, foreign policy, the farm bill, constituent services and constituent federal grant requests," Popp explained. "As the Senator continues to improve in rehab, we will be sure to keep you updated." On June 14, the Senator from Kentucky, 84, was hospitalized. McConnell's team finally broke its silence one month later with a lengthy statement and a photo of the Senator in a hospital bed. "Last month, I took a fall which landed me in the hospital," McConnell noted. The politician explained that he suffered no broken bones and did not suffer a stroke, heart attack, concussion, or hemorrhage. However, he was "briefly unconscious," taken to a hospital, and developed a "mild case of pneumonia" during his stay. "I can assure you that I've been a good patient. At my age, I tend to do what my doctors tell me to do. I've submitted to every test they can think of to help figure out what caused this incident," McConnell detailed. "And I'm continuing to do everything they ask to speed my recovery. In fact, with signs of continued progress, I've been able to move from hospital care to a rehabilitation center where I'll keep regaining my strength." To conclude his statement, McConnell promised, "I'll keep working hard to get back on the Senate floor as soon as possible. And I'll keep you posted on the progress of my recovery. Until then, I'm so grateful for your prayers and well wishes." McConnell's health update came after political commentator and strategist Scott Jennings urged him to "routinely update his constituents on how he's doing" on CNN's The Arena with Kasie Hunt. "Truthfully, I think a little transparency on the front end here would have saved him a whole lot of grief," Jennings said. "But that didn't happen, and they are where they are now." Q

This reminds me of reading about the Supreme Court justice, I believe it was Oliver Wendell Holmes, who reached the point that he was completely out of touch with nearly everything. He was left in his chambers and not consulted on issues when it was clear that there was a majority vote. On those odd occasions when there was a deadlock, the other justices would cringe and go explain the issue to him, using small words and speaking slowly. The rest of the time they just left him alone. ___________________________________________________________________________ "....imitate the action of the Tiger."

I suspect his speech is slurred, if he can speak at all. Either that, or he's out of his mind and incoherent. He's not going to be returning to the Senate, and I wonder how long they think they can maintain this charade. https://x.com/disclosetv/status/2081771812992471111
