Alea iacta est
| I don’t have this problem. I park out in the middle of BFE. No cars, no looking for a spot, and no carts. No one wants to park that far from the store. It’s all older people and shade hunters around here. They park close. I’ll take the easy way out and walk a little.

What do you drive? Mercedes, Bentley, Rolls? I would have emailed you, but you don’t have an email listed.

| I've never confronted anyone regarding shopping carts or other silly shit like that, annoying as it is. I try to keep a low profile, gray man and all that.
But when someone leaves a cart in the middle of a parking spot and doesn't make the slightest effort to move it to a safe spot or cart corral, I just assume they're self-absorbed assholes. Plenty of them around. |

Thanks seems like an excellent way to get your ass kicked.
Or your body aerated. The first challenge in that video shows the challenged cart ditcher going for and brandishing his Glock. But all is good; the money from the narc's 50,990,000+ YT views should be more than enough to cover his funeral.

| I fully understand where PASig is coming from. It ranks right up there with flinging their car doors open and hitting the vehicle next to them. On a parking lot that completely level ( none of them are) the wind will get the cart moving that will cause damage. This is a deeper issue though, it stems from the mindset that the universe rotates around their ass and they could give a shit about others or their property.

Wow! Thanks for the laugh, this thread was depressing me. Whoever thought a pickup truck would ever get a dent in the tailgate? Just about everyone who ever owned a pickup? My favorite Mazda pickup truck's tailgate got so many dents in it that it fell off completely.

So do I. But I'm not going to confront them. There's no guarantee they will react like the one in the OP. It might trigger them to violence. If the situation comes to blows or even guns, you will be the one who's seen as having instigated or escalated it. When you carry, you have to take more crap from people. |

| jumped over all the replies and my only worth while comment to the OP is "Good for You!" with that said: I can't believe how lazy people can be and I also have a dent in the side of my car from one of these people from a cart rolling down the hill that they left. I usually park a ways away from the front of a store and end up snatching a cart and either putting it in the bend or just rolling it in and using it.

It was too much for me, and at that moment, it was worth it.
I got back out, pushed his cart back behind his SUV, got back in and drove the fuck off.
And that is my shopping cart story.
You have to do that in that type of situation. |

| Americans that are too lazy to put the cart back are too lazy to do other things too. Put me on the mouthy list too. Remember, I fucking hate people to star with. He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. |

| Maybe all stores should be like ALDIs put a quarter in it to acquire then when you return it you get your quarter back. Those carts that are left are returned by someone who wants that quarter.

| Meh, shopping carts. Let's get steamed over something really important. Like the guy at the wing section at the buffet who takes all the drumettes and leaves nothing but the little meatless wingy things. The leaves the baked bean spoon in the coleslaw.
