It all goes back to the type of education to which we submit our kids. As someone stated in another thread, we need to get rid of socialist government schools...

Corporations are woke because, for the most part, management no longer comes from within. Instead, management consists of college grads. These graduates spent four years marinated in leftism, and they bring that leftism to corporations that then implement leftist policies that offend the bulk of the buying public.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

“The weasel language begins with the paragraph claiming that “the visual in question was not created or distributed by Goodyear corporate….” (Emphasis added.) This means that, while the slide wasn’t from the home office, it is a Goodyear slide.”

This makes me dislike Good Year even more. Mad

The problem with a company being "woke" is that they subsequently believe that everything will immediately become wonderful. But workplace violence is a very real thing, and if a disgruntled employee/soon-to-be ex-employee/ex-employee/angry family member of any of the above happens to walk into that Goodyear plant and start shooting up the place, Black Lives Matter is not going to be the bunch that rushes in and risks their lives to stop the threat.

They just had a Press Conference at the Union office for Good Year workers and doubled down on their position.

Dump the Trump, Dump the Trump, the sheep echoed.

Audio from Goodyear training session reveals more about ‘zero tolerance’ policy

He sounds like he is trying to do what he's told, but doesn't really buy into it himself.

I just talked to my local Goodyear tire/service shop.

For what its worth.

They told me it was a manager from a shop who was giving his own policy speech. The shops are independently owned/operated and the only connection to Goodyear is the sign outside. They pay a fee to Goodyear for the tires and thats it. Goodyear has no control how they run the shop and what policies they set.

Then, why did Goodyear release the statement they made?

https://mobile.twitter.com/goo.../1296111292827283462

Carefully read the last sentence in the second paragraph. They aren't as slick as they think.

"...that fall outside the scope of racial justice and equity issues."

IOW, BLM bullshit is just fine wth them. ANTIFA bullshit is just fine with them. MAGA? Not fine with them.

"Racial justice"?? Fuck these confused SJW-loving bastards.

Your local Goodyear fella is trying to deflect to save him some business.

The facility in question was not a Goodyear Service Shop it was one of their Manufacturing plants most certainly under corporate control.

Sorry no link, but there is audio confirming this as the presenter talks about their “plant” making great tires and being a good place to work.

Look at my link above to the United Steelworkers Local 2 Press Conference.

This is in no way a local Good Year dealer.

This SJW B.S. has come down from the Corporate Office and is supported by the Good Year workers belonging to the Steelworkers Union in Akron OH.

Thanks again! Made in USA and a helluva lot cheaper than Michelins. Gives me something to ponder... Smile
