That's correct of all car purchases that aren't ordered just for the purchases. Since the warranty doesn't start until delivery, the buyer is still fully covered and cars come with road hazard and tire coverage.

There's little upside to the dealer selling a bad car.

Yes, it makes more sense and no test drives.
When I got my X5 Sport, it had 8 miles on it.
I want something similar again.

It is more than likely it's my last go round, I want it to go as best it can.

Thinking about the new Escape and the 2 month wait should keep me hyped up for a while.

The whole family is supportive and excited for me, and that is really a nice feeling.
Plus, oldest daughter gets it when I pass on (2 years?) or I live on, keep it and buy her something at that time.
To be honest, I do hope the latter occurs, but that's just me being selfish.

Cool. The 2.0L Ecoboost uses 5W30, I was worried it was going to be 5W20.
And the automatic opening liftgate will really be of help to me.

As for the power lift gate, I'll admit I thought the "kick to open" feature was the biggest gimmick ever... until I learned that it worked to close it as well.
Getting home from the range and unloading multiple gun cases and just kick the foot to close the gate? Yes please!

Ford jams these Escapes with a lot of tech, especially the Titanium models.

There are a lot of 2017 Escapes out there, but I have yet to see one in Lightning Blue.
I really like the Ruby Red metallic, but those are so common and everywhere, including one across the street from me.

The 2018 models will look different and we are late into this model year.
I am told I can still order a 2017 and Ford's website still has that feature.

I seem to find things that indicate I am still living, yet make sense given my situation.

That color is even sharper in person. My wife was leaning towards the red until she saw that it was an "extra cost option" and then looked at the orange-ish one. It wasn't optioned as she wanted, but the black one was, so that's what she got.
2017, Titanium, tan leather, 8 inch lcd sync3 stereo without navigation, and it had the adaptive cruise which I liked.

The black ones do look nice.

About the only options I don't want are the adaptive cruise/collision alert and the tow package.
I would take adaptive cruise if it were offered as a stand alone, which it is not.

The tow package I don't need or want and if I had it, someone somewhere, sometime, I think maybe will ask to borrow the car to tow something... no way.
So if I don't have it, no one will ask.

Nice looking car or SUV. I like the color.

By the time all is said and done, we are going to have 4 Fords in the family, a Fusion, 2 Escapes and a Mustang.

Looks good, does 301A or Titanium come with heated leather seats? I forget on ours if it was an extra option or came in a package - but was pretty nice this past winter. Plus the 17 gets the twin scroll eco-boost. I almost passed on the 16 due to that, but the wife liked the color, interior and options - she didn't care about how many scroll's it had.

I am sure your daughter will gladly pass on getting it if the latter occurs. We are all praying for the latter.

After all these years of having BMW's, you're buying 'Merican! Bill would be prouder if you were getting a Buick....just sayin'.......

The Buick SUV was my second choice, but I really want the Escape.

I bet if looked at all the parts on the new Ford, they are made all over the world.

I finalized the order this morning, and they should be submitting it this afternoon.
And now the wait begins.

They should be sending me some paperwork Ford generates in the next couple of days.

I did get to see the car they brought in for me that I had already rejected.
Nice looking car, but I could see it had been washed a gazillion times. Plus it had 500 miles on it. It's a demo.
I did get a good look at the color and it's pretty.
I got to sit in it and get the feel for the color and the interior. It's going to be great.
