Funny you mention that.
He did eat a bread stick shortly after the photo was taken.

I was thinking about my life today and I have have come to the conclusion that my greatest talent and success of life is being a bump on a pickle.

I am really really good at this. Ha!

Well darn, I spent the night in the hospital last night but am home currently.
I had a couple of short term couple of second aches aches in my chest so I went to the ER and they checked me in overnight.

I have some testing to be done tomorrow regarding a potential pulmonary embolism, but I am not too worried, though everyone else seems to be.

I will know more tomorrow.

HEY, only one of us gets to take a trip to the ER in any one week’s time!

I love the photos of you with Miles. Until mine came along I had no idea how much fun it would be to be a grandpa. For one thing, blanket forts are still a blast and as long as you build them with a child nobody drags you to a competency hearing. Smile

I went to have the stress tests today and they said because it wasn't in patient, it was cancelled.
Then they said I would need my heart doctor to order this again.

To be honest, the heart center for UCHealth is entirely screwed up. Recently, they sent me a letter saying I needed a heart appointment this month and to contact them.
I went there in person a couple of weeks ago and they said they didn't know why I was sent that letter by them and I wasn't due until November.

Now this today as I mentioned above.

I am just going to skip this stress test thing entirely. They don't seem to know what they are doing and at this point, I am not sure any diagnosis is worth the paper it's printed on.

The UCHealth cancer center, on the other hand, is really good and everything goes smoothly so I will just continue that part of my treatment and turn the rest over to God.

Heck, I really do not believe I have any pulmonary embolism anyway.
They are probably just looking at kidney cancer lymph node swelling in my lungs.

Oy. That sucks for the aggravation and time wasted, but, don’t second guess it. Have your doc reorder. Git yer test done! We love you too much!

Does all that aggravation count as a stress test?

Ha! Now that is funny.
Thanks for caring you all.

It's weird.
I get this call a couple hours ago and my pulmonary doc ordered a CT scan without the iodide. Kidney issues you know.

I am going to do that one.
It's October 1st, so there seems to be no emergency with the things that happened to get me to the ER.

The pulmonary embolism isn't a sure thing as far as a diagnosis yet.

If the stress test is so important, they would not have let me walk out and not get it.
If something is an emergency, docs and nurses usually go all out to help which was not the case today.

Despite my general positive attitude the last 2 and a half years, I have to admit that I am weary of being sick.
I am trying my best to not fall into the "I must live at all costs" trap.
I don't want to be that person that gets trapped by that message.
Trust me when I say it is so easy to fall into that and I have been doing my best to avoid doing such.

Will I be successful in my endeavor?
Don't know.
Some of this being human stuff keeps getting in the way.

ARGH!
