I read a post on another forum that made a rather interesting argument.

If the BLM/GDCs/EIEIOs got their way and police departments are rendered incompetent either by defunding or personnel elimination, who would protect the BLM/GDCs/EIEIOs from the portion of the population that opposes disestablishing the police?

I could well see some of those who oppose disestablishing the police saying "What the hell, there are no cops to enforce the laws... I guess its open season."

I have to admit, it was an interesting discussion.
