This rips the heart out of the local “catch and release” Soros backed prosecutors! F*ck them! Wait until the Feds prosecute the little snowflakes! An earlier post quoted the Antifa complaining about unfair prosecution with years in prison as. A consequence of felonious behavior.

So how does this work? Are they just "deputized"? Do they have to have their agency's approval to be deputized? Could their agency tell them not to and fire them if they did?

Thus the metric system did not really catch on in the States, unless you count the increasing popularity of the nine-millimeter bullet.

I would imagine they have the approval of their agency.

Maybe not the very higher-ups. I doubt any firing would occur, though.

It's called a 'Brady no call list'. It's generally applied when an officer has been determined to perjure himself/herself in prior court proceedings in which their integrity and honesty is called to question. It may also be applied when an IAB investigation determines false statements.

Basically, anytime an officer gives false testimony, it may come back to haunt them. They end up on a crappy desk assignment/administrative job where they will never make an arrest which may go to a prosecutor, before a grand jury or before a court. I can't imagine a worse scenario for 99% of police officers.

I seriously doubt any prosecutor would apply it 'just because'.

Back in the day, when most prosecutors were qualified and actually prosecuted criminals, that would have been a reasonable assumption. However, in this instance, we're talking about Kim Gardner so reason doesn't necessarily apply.

They would not do it without the agency agreeing. Our dept. has had members "deputized" regularly over the years...jut never than many at once. That is a great move to allow federal charges and bypass these corrupt local DAs

I think that’s an excellent idea and if the brass has hard feelings about it that would be a personal problem Big Grin

Democrats fuel the rioting:

Gov Kate Brown (D) of Oregon:

"Breonna Taylor and her family deserve justice.

And this week’s grand jury decision was not justice."

and

"Let me be perfectly clear: we will not tolerate violence."

?? Portland has been rioting for over 100 days ?

I'd give anything to have been there to ask her with my most earnest facial expression:

if she 'could please briefly give her own definition of violence? Many here are confused because I don't believe you know what it is.'

Hmm, let me introduce you to Kim Gardner but you are right, she isn't a prosecutor. Some of the officers are on the list because they refused to give HER shooting review team a statement (she wants it without the officer's lawyer present) or they declined to testify in criminal cases due to HER still not ruling if a shooting was justified or not, even though the criminal's case is up for trial. Most of the officers on her "list" have no idea why they are on it nor does the department.

Charles Barkley on defunding the police: ‘Who are Black people supposed to call? Ghostbusters?’

Yep. Right to the point. Here is the text:

ATLANTA, Ga. (WFLA) — NBA analyst and Hall of Famer Charles Barkley criticized the ‘defund the police’ movement pushed by some police brutality protesters Thursday.

The former MVP is one of four analysts on TNT’s award winning pregame show Inside the NBA. While basketball is the name of the game, the hosts are known to discuss social injustices as they gain national attention.

Racial tensions were inflamed again last week after it was announced that no officers would be directly charged for the death of Breonna Taylor.

Unrest continues for the second night following Breonna Taylor announcement
The Inside the NBA crew discussed the jury’s indictment on Thursday’s pregame and postgame show.

“It’s bad the young lady lost her life, but you know, we do have to take into account that her boyfriend did shoot at the cops and shot a cop,” Barkley said. “Even though I’m really sorry she lost her life, I don’t think that we can just put this in the same situation as George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery.”

Additionally, Barkley criticized the “fools on TV” that are pushing to defund the police.

“Because you know who aint gonna defund the cops? White neighborhoods and rich neighborhoods,” he said. “That notion that they keep saying that, I’m like ‘wait a minute, who are Black people supposed to call, Ghostbusters?”

Fools on TV hahaahhhhaa

Thank you for your well wishes.

Classes are being phased in. Elementary school started the 16th, middle/high this coming Monday on an A/B schedule.

Friday was our first field trip this year. We wasn't in an bad area, but there was lots of police activity, we heard several shots in the distance and a very large police presence for a high school football game.

It was unlike anything I had seen before. It truly was the first time that I was uneasy on a field trip.

There has to be a turning point, a true stop all bullshit and get back to normal.

I feel sorry for the kids of today, all the unrest, all the lies and bullshit. Not just the unrest of the rioting, but covid robbing them of a normal life. The Dimwhitcraps are 100% to blame for this. I just hope that it can be fixed.
