![]() Can’t say that I do. At least they united the Internet. I’ll take “how stupid are they” for $200, Alex.. HR. Completely destroyed the credibility of that department one fell swoop. What arrogant fools. They deserve every bit of this infamy. __________________________ "Trust, but verify."

Honestly who cares? That many million views on someone’s private business? People need to get a life. Shit like this, people getting caught in the act of cheating, happens every day. If it’s not your people you personally know, meh. What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

The guy obviously was not into hip hop or he would know how to play it off. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." CEO resigns after embarrassing Coldplay concert Jumbotron incident Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, who was caught by a Coldplay concert Jumbotron cozying up with his company's head of human resources, has resigned following the incident, according to the company. "As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding," the company wrote in a statement Saturday to Fox News. "Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met." Astronomer said Byron tendered his resignation, and the board of directors accepted. Link I'm sure he will need some time to find a divorce lawyer. So, in our world of equal rights, what's gonna happen to the HR lady? Is she gonna drop her resignation, too? Hell, she's the laughingstock of the company right now. _________________________________________________________________________ “A man’s treatment of a dog is no indication of the man’s nature, but his treatment of a cat is. I've been to over 100 big concerts and the only ones where I didn't run into someone I knew were in other countries. I bought two tix for a Rush concert from a guy in Vegas, my wife and I sat with him and his wife. Three yrs later we ran into them again at another Rush concert. When the lights started going down, we went our seats and they were right next to each other again. We had bought our tix at the box office that day. Other guy had bought his months earlier online. I would never think of trying to hide something while going to a concert. Freewill Firearms 07 FFL, Class 2 SOT

I don’t care if they’re heterosexual or not. They clearly had no issue with showing such disrespect to their respective families in the public eye, and it looks like they might have made some coworkers complicit to their betrayal. Another normal human behavior is reaction to betrayal- when people get married, there are witnesses - that’s part of the deal - it might just be a judge or it might be a crowd of 500. But when they marry, they do it in front of someone(s) and everyone witnessing is supposed to be a part of helping to maintain that marriage and commitment. Like Arc said: Red Roof Inn, and no one would’ve cared. They took the rules of something many consider to be sacred and flaunted them in a crowd of over 10,000 people (I don’t know how many people Coldplay draws)? Poor luck that they got caught on a kiss cam, but hey, they were cool with it in front of that full arena..karma. And I’m not talking about HR or internal policies on dating. That’s a whole nuther problem that’s going to haunt HR departments around the world for the next however long. They sacrificed their families in front of the world. If no one said anything, I would think the world was spinning even faster into this fucking handbasket. The internet may have gone over the top, but when people act like rules don’t apply to them because they’re too special, they’re going to get a brake check. __________________________ "Trust, but verify."

Yeah, these two cretins decide to fuck around in a very public place with cameras in the hands of thousands of strangers, and expect privacy? What should have been a shameful, discreet action was trotted out in the open. As Rick Lee noted, it is not impossible to run across friends at a concert, I have done so several times. Hell, my wife and I ran into friends at Disneyland decades ago, twice, which is a crazy notion. This is not "normal" behavior, but a societal sin and generally frowned upon, thankfully. And these two rocket scientists had social media sites that included family photos, they both have children. This is a classic FAFO moment. It boggles the mind how certain people make horrible life changing decisions.
