Just letting you know, somewhere around 95 degrees and above, most of us Yankess legally melt! Especially with the humidity

-1 here with sustained winds over 40mph. Gusting to 50 and 60 with peak gust something over 70 earlier today. It's chilly and breezy.

It's going to get down to six overnight here.

It's not supposed to be six around these parts.

It's a toasty 1°F with a wind chill of -17°F.

I'm sick as a dog, and my pup is driving me crazy to go play in the snow.

At 5am this morning in central Florida my weather station said it was 29 degrees.
Just a little to cold out for shorts this morning however, maybe this afternoon, we will see. Wink

My family & I are visiting my brother's family for Christmas Eve near Gettysburg. It's 6 deg F outside with 15-25 mph wind gusts. We're currently watching a Pileated (Pilot) woodpecker doing his thing on a barren tree in the backyard. First time I've ever seen one of those woodpeckers. Perhaps he flew Southeast due to the storm?

We got down to five last night. I don't ever want to see it any colder than that around here.

Well, it's 32° here right now, but was much colder last night. Low tonight predicted to be 21°, so I'll have to keep my faucets dripping and the cabinets open for at least another day. (I don't want a freeze like happened last year! Water flooded about half of my first story home.)

No snow here.

14 with freezing rain when I went to bed last night. 34 when I got up this morning. Gonna be a messy few days with this warmer weather, but at least the pipes out in the shop thawed out. So I've got that going for me...which is nice.

Heck it got up to 30 today in the NC mountains. Downright balmy with the forecast to get a bit warmer each day for the next several days.
Maybe my condensate pump line will finally thaw out…

The bomb cyclone is over here in the Yoop. And surprisingly, I have been warmer than many of you. Approximately 18 inches of snow on the ground now and 16 degrees. Temps near 40 are forecasted for later in the week.
