Not bad now- 23, it's going to get down to 15 later this morning.

They're saying some snow Thursday, about 7"-9", 30 degrees then drop to about 1 ish.

Friday, -8.
Sat/Sun -3.

Yup, someone is going to turn on winter.

I hope you have someone already lined up. The well drillers around here are backed up at least a year from what I hear. And congrats on the purchase. Polson has changed alot...for the better I think.

It’s funny the way weather works. Supposed to be around 50 here tomorrow and Friday (but with non-stop rain) and once the gale force winds push that through, the temperature will plummet to the mid-20s for the Christmas weekend.

Couldn’t even a white Christmas out of it.

Nasty here for a couple days too. -12° for an overnight low tonight, -5° is Thursday’s forecasted high, then falling to -20 that night. By Christmas Eve temps return to a more reasonable level. Unfortunately, this time of year, the “W” word is almost always present. Thursday (for example) with the -5° high, will be brought to us at 20-30 mph.

My weather ap says -20 for the low tomorrow in Northern Colorado. I double checked my antifreeze mixture and took the water bottle out of the truck bag. Even though my truck gets to live the good life with a garage I will still have to venture out to the office tomorrow.
Anything under -10 and shit starts breaking so be extra careful of your stuff.

Well, looks like the snow part is pretty much done. Got somewhere in the neighborhood of 2ft. Fairly light fluffy stuff, so easy plowing.

Just colder than a well diggers ass now.

Cold stuff on Saturday 49 day and a low of 29, maybe, but that will happen in the early hours of the day, 7 to 8 am, by noon it will be back close to 50... Sunday the same..

By Friday of next week it climbs back to a balmy 77.

I don't know what part of Montana Gustofer lives, but I'm in Flathead County. There are several members around the lake and met some super cool ones.

There are several in central Montana as well that I'd like to meet up with when fly fishing on the Mo.

We had an acute situation with our dog and had to take her to the vet. Unfortunately, we live out in the county, east of Cheyenne, and our vet’s office is in the county on the NW side of town. We no sooner started out than the winter storm front began to move in. Temps falling like a rock from 23° about an hour before we left to -3° as started down the two-lane towards town. Blowing snow increasing by the minute. By the time we got to the clinic it was -7° and we were driving in-and-out of whiteout conditions. Driving back home it was -13°, wind out of 5he NW at 26 mph, and visibility (at times) down to about 50’. Guess what. There were 6 or 8 vehicles out driving around with no lights on. How stupid do you have to be NOT to turn your lights on in weather like this?!?

In case you’re interested, our dog has an “aural hematoma.” It will require a surgical procedure to remove the blood, and horror of horrors, she’ll have to wear one of those cone collars to keep from pulling out the stitches.

I left work around 3:50 this afternoon to get a haircut. In 10 miles down the road the temperature in Denver dropped from 48 to 18. Glad I wan not driving a high profile vehicle cause that wind was intense. Tumbleweeds blowing across the road everywhere.

When I got home at 5:15, it was 5 degrees at the house.
