BTW, median viewership for Fox News is 70, with cnn at 65. No one under 45 is watching.

Reasonable discourse and true deep analysis of policy disagreements are available, but not on TV news or networks.

Instead, go YouTube over to the likes of the Hoover Institution or Socrates in the City and listen to excellent debate between polite intellectuals actually discussing and listening to each other in a lucid conversation.

Have you listened to Gen. James “Maddog” Mattis on our National Defense Policy which he wrote and delivered a few months ago? Or Dr. David Berlinski talk about the corruption of science. Great stuff! Light up your favorite smoke and learn something of value.

Lots of great dialog and respectful/reasonable disagreement on the web. So much better than 2.5 minutes of inch deep yelling and hyperbole.

But, if you prefer polemics and invectives, cable “news” is the place. Just don’t be “shocked” that USAToday, Drudge, Foxnews, CNN, MSNBC all play the dumb $$$ game. Old hat; yawn.

I agree. The bad part is most people don’t realize it and gobble it up. I have an uncle that hates Trump and thinks he’s the dumbest person to ever walk the earth. He doesn’t realize it but his opinions have been formed by the nightly news for decades. He does not have the ability to open his eyes and take an objective look at the economy and the other good Trump has done for this country. Any opinion other than his and he gets angry. Lol
