There are a whole bunch of films that not only have I seen them already, but will watch on DVD/BluRay at least once a year, and if they are on TV, I will keep it on that channel in the background and watch casually while doing other things. Films like The Godfather, Godfather II, The Dirty Dozen, Alien, Kelly's Heroes, Dirty Harry, Gun Crazy, The Maltese Falcon, Stagecoach and at least a half-dozen other John Wayne movies, Double Indemnity, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Citizen Kane, Goodfellas, The Thin Man, etc etc. etc.

Just recently, I watched James Cagney's Yankee Doodle Dandy for perhaps the 18th time, had to see it again.

Well, I still can't watch Melancholia no matter what. It is the apex predator of garbage.

Yes, von Trier is the ultimate Eurotrash, but I'm still a mo-ron. Apologies to all.

My top movies are also the ones I watch most often.

Count of Monte Cristo (Jim Caviezel and Guy Pearce)
Last of the Mohicans
Tombstone
Fury
Terminator 2
Princess Mononoke
The Thing - 1982

Let’s add The Patriot to that list. Also editing to add Kung Fu Hustle, fantastic movie IMO.

Cannot watch Passion of the CHRIST Mel Gibson. Tough one for sure.

If you read the thread from the beginning, it’s a pretty good take on the stereotypical internet thread.

I was going to add Casablanca last night but was too tired to give it justice.

2BobTanner did it, I agree wholeheartedly with everything he said. By far, Casablanca is my favorite movie.

Everything associated with Steven
