Received ours today on our 37th anniversary. Yea we can get by without it but will put it to good use.
Usually go for nice dinner but not this year. Drive thru at local fast food and left a nice tip. Had dinner at local Applebees take out the other nite and left the nice young lady a generous tip. Only saw four other customers in the half hour we were there Ate in their parking lot.
Good luck to all and keep safe.

Wife had hers deposited in her account today. Not counting on mine. I usually owe money come April. I send a check and don't use EFT.

SBA loan process is going nowhere with my small biz. SunTrust is slammed with requests, I guess.

The wife and I have had to pay the last few years, so we put in our info today. She has been out of work for a month, so it will help when we get it.

As in most cases when I receive unexpected funds, I will be getting a bill shortly from someone for twice what I received. Mad

Even while some are waiting for their $1200 checks, the authors of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES) are already proposing a more sweeping followup package.

Representatives Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) have written the Emergency Money for the People Act (EMPA). All single Americans over the age of 16 earning less than $130,000 would be given a monthly $2,000 check "until employment returns to pre-COVID-19 levels," with a minimum of 6 months. Married couples would receive $4000. Like the first stimulus plan, the payments would not be taxable.

Families with children would receive an extra $500 per child, up to three children. Eligibility would be extended to a wider range of people.

I do not think the website is fully functional until Friday which is why everyone is getting the error.
