I think the main and only reason the eR party wants to win is to make Kevin McCarthy the new Stinker, oops I mean Speaker, of the House. If that occurs it will remain business as usual and nothing constructive will be accomplished. I really want to feel optimistic, but will remain a 'Thomas' until...

This is very true.

John Boehner was the Speaker for a number of years and accomplished little that I can remember but most recently Paul Ryan served as Speaker from 2015 to 2019 and he didn't deliver much. I don't see McCarthy distinguishing himself from them and he doesn't have the chops either.

Hey, it's our turn to feed at the trough!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

It’s really disheartening how many here behave like Eeoyre at every election cycle. Republicans win and it’s business as usual? Good, if that means I’m buying gas at $2.50 a gallon and I’m not seeing everything doubling in price weekly.

Many young people are not going to forget paying $65 to fill up their Civic. No matter what happens between now and Nov, that’s a sting that will persist.

Karl Rove isn't a reliable source. He involved himself with the Greitens divorce when he apparently advised his wife to fake abuse complaints.

There are two things to consider: first, a massive voter turnout for Republicans, but many candidates are new RINOs, and second, the same machines and same officials are counting the ballot. Nothing has changed.

We said it all before in 2020, and until the system is no longer rigged its likely going to be the same thing all over again. I'm not going to be influenced by all the hopium some are pumping out, I leave that to bitcoin speculators.

Every representative and half the Senate are up for election.

That's vote counting in 50 states and hundreds of congressional districts.

The defrauding of the 2020 election happened in very few but targeted areas. You can't rig every election, most elections or even many elections. Especially not when the vast majority of the country knows your about to get curb stomped and even the most retarded can see the writing on the wall.

Personally, I’m hoping for a blowout of epic proportions so huge that there’s no way that the Dems can steal the election results; but try they will.

I'm not anticipating any particular outcome, though I am hopeful. Regardless, my foot is peddle to the metal until the end. I think there's little more pathetic than watching a competitor assume the win and celebrating early only to lose as a result. Eye on the ball.

34 seats are up for grabs in the Senate. I think 14 Democratic and 20 Republican. Looking at the Democratic positions I think a swing 3 or 4 is what will happen. Most of the Democratic Senate seats up for election are in solid, solid, solid, blue states.

Hope there is a major shift in the House

Hope there is a major shift at the State level. Republicans have a decent to comfortable edge in Governors and State Legislatures over the Democrats. After November I hope it will be a commanding edge. This is where the future Republican National leaders will come from. This is where the conservative issues that will be brought before the Supreme Court originate.

As much as I would hope for a Republican blow out, I see the country as pretty evenly split and what the GOP picks up from Independents can be wiped out by the Stacy Abrams style cheating that WILL take place.

No substantial changes to voting laws to limit ballot harvesting, early and extended voting, polling machines connected to the internet, or the widespread use of Dominion software. What do exactly are we hoping is going to turn out differently?

Given the younger generation’s fetish for socialism and the GOP’s ability to shoot itself in the foot, I’m not convinced it will be an overwhelming victory for the GOP.

A majority by only a handful of Republicans won't accomplish much . Biden will veto everything and they won't be able to overturn it .

Karl Rove and his little white board are always wrong. Nevertheless, he sells his consulting services for millions every election. Slick. Dick Morris, in contrast, made a wrong call in the last election and now has a little stand on a corner in DC: political predictions and lemonade, 50 cents.

Nah, I see that as being a media creation for the foolish who will accept it. The inflation and economy are currently killing everyone. Couple that with Dem's attitude toward education (The Younkin Effect if you will), and Biden's total failure on every level, and I see even some Dem's who are not rabid Leftists either voting R to send a message or sitting this one out. Don't buy into the liar's narrative. We're lied to so often anymore, its easy to succumb to it.
