I was reading earlier that replacing Zelensky will solve nothing because Ukrainian constitution or law mandates that whoever is in office is required to maintain or restore the countries border. So, for there to be a resolution or peace agreement the people/government are going to have to vote for a constitutional amendment. And according to polls, he is popular and the people will reelect him even if there is an election. Article 2 Ukrainian constitution.
