Damned straight.

We need to be the wind in the USS D.J. Trump's sails.

If we sit and expect things to really be re-set to the betterment and health of this Republic, for all its people, then we all need to be involved beyond the 30 minutes out of our lives to stop and vote.

What the libtards still don't get:

The silent majority is tired of putting up with the whiny minority. The whiny minority has turned the silent majority into honey badgers.

The libtards will keep pushing us and will realize one day soon that they pushed themselves to the edge of a cliff.

Text of Trump executive order on enhancing public safety in the interior of the United States

http://www.foxnews.com/politic...r-united-states.html

too long to print out

partial:

Sanctuary jurisdictions across the United States willfully violate Federal law in an attempt to shield aliens from removal from the United States. These jurisdictions have caused immeasurable harm to the American people and to the very fabric of our Republic.

Tens of thousands of removable aliens have been released into communities across the country, solely because their home countries refuse to accept their repatriation. Many of these aliens are criminals who have served time in our Federal, State, and local jails. The presence of such individuals in the United States, and the practices of foreign nations that refuse the repatriation of their nationals, are contrary to the national interest.

Although Federal immigration law provides a framework for Federal-State partnerships in enforcing our immigration laws to ensure the removal of aliens who have no right to be in the United States, the Federal Government has failed to discharge this basic sovereign responsibility. We cannot faithfully execute the immigration laws of the United States if we exempt classes or categories of removable aliens from potential enforcement. The purpose of this order is to direct executive departments and agencies (agencies) to employ all lawful means to enforce the immigration laws of the United States.

Ensure that jurisdictions that fail to comply with applicable Federal law do not receive Federal funds, except as mandated by law;

Enforcement Priorities. In executing faithfully the immigration laws of the United States, the Secretary of Homeland Security (Secretary) shall prioritize for removal those aliens described by the Congress in sections 212(a)(2), (a)(3), and (a)(6)(C), 235, and 237(a)(2) and (4) of the INA (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(2), (a)(3), and (a)(6)(C), 1225, and 1227(a)(2) and (4)), as well as removable aliens who:

(a) Have been convicted of any criminal offense;

(b) Have been charged with any criminal offense, where such charge has not been resolved;

(c) Have committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense;

(d) Have engaged in fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official matter or application before a governmental agency;

(e) Have abused any program related to receipt of public benefits;

(f) Are subject to a final order of removal, but who have not complied with their legal obligation to depart the United States; or

(g) In the judgment of an immigration officer, otherwise pose a risk to public safety or national security.

*************

overall, this is a very hard hitting order. What is mind blowing is that all it really says is "enforce existing laws"

The Pres. is doing exactly what he said he would do!!! I doubt that he can get 100% of it done, but not for the lack of trying. Allowing the ICE folks to finally do their jobs, along with talk about starting the wall, plus coming down on sanctuary cities........all of this is music to my ears!!!!

Trump Prepares Orders Aiming at Global Funding and Treaties

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration is preparing executive orders that would clear the way to drastically reduce the United States’ role in the United Nations and other international organizations, as well as begin a process to review and potentially abrogate certain forms of multilateral treaties, officials said.

The first of the two draft orders, titled “Auditing and Reducing U.S. Funding of International Organizations” and obtained by The New York Times, calls for terminating funding for any United Nations agency or other international body that meets any one of several criteria.

Those criteria include organizations that give full membership to the Palestinian Authority or Palestine Liberation Organization, or support programs that fund abortion or any activity that circumvents sanctions against Iran or North Korea. The draft order also calls for terminating funding for any organization that “is controlled or substantially influenced by any state that sponsors terrorism” or is blamed for the persecution of marginalized groups or any other systematic violation of human rights.

The order calls for then enacting “at least a 40 percent overall decrease” in remaining United States funding toward international organizations.

< snip >

The second executive order, “Moratorium on New Multilateral Treaties,” calls for a review of all current and pending treaties with more than one other nation. It asks for recommendations on which negotiations or treaties the United States should leave.

< snip >

The United States provides about a quarter of all funding to United Nations peacekeeping operations, of which there are more than a dozen, in Europe, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. At least one of these, the operation in southern Lebanon, directly serves Israeli interests by protecting the country’s northern border, though the draft order characterizes the funding cuts as serving Israeli interests.

Does the UN pay rent for that prime NY real estate? If not, they should. If they are, we should triple the rent.

If they don't like it, they can leave. The sooner, the better.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I'm glad Trump is President. Yes I voted for him.

In the future anytime I may disagree with him I only need to remind myself it could have been Hillbilly as President.

That's good news. The Arkansas flowing through Big Horn canyon is some excellent fly fishing, and doesn't need a bunch of trash disguised as "art" in it.

A lot of good stuff there.
I like this one on transparency.

(b) To better inform the public regarding the public safety threats associated with sanctuary jurisdictions, the Secretary shall utilize the Declined Detainer Outcome Report or its equivalent and, on a weekly basis, make public a comprehensive list of criminal actions committed by aliens and any jurisdiction that ignored or otherwise failed to honor any detainers with respect to such aliens.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said Republicans should fight to get President Trump's coming Supreme Court nominee confirmed by any means necessary.

Republicans will need at least eight Democrats to support Trump's nominee to overcome the 60-vote filibuster hurdle. But Cruz suggested the GOP shouldn't rule out the so-called nuclear option to reduce the threshold to a majority.

Cruz also praised Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for the position he has taken as Democrats threaten to block a Trump nominee.

"He’s encouraged all of us to go out and simply say we will confirm President Trump's nominees; the Democrats will not succeed in filibustering those nominees. I think thats fabulous. I agree with him," Cruz said.

When pressed about whether Republicans would employ the nuclear option this week, McConnell simply said: "The nominee will be confirmed."
