The Clinton Foundation Shuts Down Clinton Global Initiative
On January 12, a WARN notice was filed with the New York Department of Labor—the main office of the Clinton Global Initiative would be closing

By Michael Sainato • 01/15/17

WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 10: Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaks at a reception celebrating the completion of the U.S. Diplomacy Center Pavilion, at the State Department on January 10, 2017 in Washington, DC. The first floor of the pavilion was dedicated and named the Hillary Rodham Clinton Pavilion.

The Clinton Foundation’s long list of wealthy donors and foreign government contributors during the 2016 elections provoked critics to allege conflicts of interests. Clinton partisans defended the organization’s charitable work, and dismissed claims that it served as a means for the Clintons to sell off access, market themselves on the paid speech circuit, and elevate their brand as Hillary Clinton campaigned for the presidency.

But as soon as Clinton lost the election, many of the criticisms directed toward the Clinton Foundation were reaffirmed. Foreign governments began pulling out of annual donations, signaling the organization’s clout was predicated on donor access to the Clintons, rather than its philanthropic work. In November, the Australian government confirmed it “has not renewed any of its partnerships with the scandal-plagued Clinton Foundation, effectively ending 10 years of taxpayer-funded contributions worth more than $88 million.” The government of Norway also drastically reduced their annual donations, which reached $20 million a year in 2015.

On January 12, the Clinton Foundation received more bad news: a WARN notice was filed with the New York Department of Labor. The main office of the Clinton Global Initiative in New York City would be closing, laying off 22 employees. The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) “offers protection to workers, their families and communities by requiring employers to provide notice 60 days in advance of covered plant closings and covered mass layoffs. This notice must be provided to either affected workers or their representatives (e.g., a labor union); to the State dislocated worker unit; and to the appropriate unit of local government.” The reason for the filing was stated as the “discontinuation of the Clinton Global Initative,” after CGI previously announced layoffs leading up to the general election.

The Clinton Global Initiative was created in 2005 to serve as a networking platform for the Clinton Foundation. Both the initiative’s mission and its own definition of what it seeks to accomplish are vague. “Rather than directly implementing projects, CGI facilitates action by helping members connect, collaborate, and make effective and measurable Commitments to Action—plans for addressing significant global challenges,” states the CGI website. The Clinton Global Initiative and Clinton Foundation director of media relations have not responded to requests for a comment.

WikiLeaks revealed several criticisms of the Clinton Foundation were true, as pay-to-play schemes and the foundation’s corrupt management were exposed. On October 26, The Washington Post reported a memo detailed how the Clinton Foundation was used to boost Bill Clinton’s income.

“The memo, made public Wednesday by the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks, lays out the aggressive strategy behind lining up the consulting contracts and paid speaking engagements for Bill Clinton that added tens of millions of dollars to the family’s fortune, including during the years that Hillary Clinton led the State Department,” reported The Washington Post. “It describes how Band helped run what he called “Bill Clinton Inc.,” obtaining “in-kind services for the President and his family—for personal travel, hospitality, vacation and the like.”

The Clinton Foundation‘s downward trajectory ever since since Hillary Clinton’s election loss provides further testimony to claims that the organization was built on greed and the lust for power and wealth—not charity.

He is worse than nothing, he is actively damaging the Trump Administration with his antiquated ideas about marijuana (which also shows his lack of respect for states rights), the debacle with his decision to recuse himself, his unwillingness to champion meaningful reform of federal law enforcement (e.g., the FBI), and more.

He is a prime example of the shit that needs to be drained from the cesspool.

I'm just wondering if Mr. Sessions is a prime example of The Peter Principle. Lord knows there are SCADS of politicians falling under that category...

An AOLpoll says 70% of voters think Trump dislikes the media more than white supremacists.

Think that through, could it be simply because the media has been hammering him at every turn, every second for a year, and the white supremacists have popped up twice for a day?

A glaring, extremely obvious example of blatant bias by a brown-lips mainstream media outlet. It is just sickening.

A study by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s open borders organization revealed that if an Obama-created amnesty program for young illegal aliens is ended, it would open nearly 700,000 American jobs.

Zuckerberg’s FWD.us group – a pro-immigration lobbying group – released the study with the intention to show the hardships of ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, where more than 850,000 young illegal aliens have been given temporary amnesty would have on the American economy.

The study unintentionally revealed how many more job opportunities American workers would have if President Trump were to repeal DACA, as he promised his supporters he would do.

According to the FWD.us study, if DACA is repealed it would mean potentially 700,000 American jobs could open up for American citizens.

The study claims that on average, if Trump were to repeal DACA, 30,000 American job opportunities would open up each month. FWD.us President Todd Schulte touted the results of the study as a loss for America’s business community, saying it would have “severe consequences” on the economy.

Under DACA, young illegal aliens are given permits to work in the U.S. despite their immigration status. In President Obama’s last months in office, he scrambled to give out more than 120,000 permissions

700,000 jobs when DACA ends?
This could greatly help the African American community.

The most obvious problem with DACA is that it is illegal. By unilaterally issuing work permits and deportation relief to a large class of illegal immigrants, President Obama effectively rewrote immigration law

One year before obama reversed course and instituted DACA:

"With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that’s just not the case, because there are laws on the books that Congress has passed. . . . The executive branch’s job is to enforce and implement those laws. . . . There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply through executive order ignore those congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as President."

His new justification was that the executive branch would merely be exercising “prosecutorial discretion” in whom it chooses to deport

This is interesting. A rogue vehicle gets too close to President Trumps motorcade in Springfield.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Yqa5PUViPo

http://nypost.com/2017/08/31/r...ld-trumps-motorcade/

The two-minute YouTube clip shows the beginning of the presidential motorcade cruising down Kearney Street in Springfield on Wednesday when suddenly a white car appears out of a wooded area and veers off to the side of the road.

“Oh my gosh! Look at that car that just came out of the woods!” the man filming the video can be heard saying.

Another man remarks, “What the hell just happened here?”

The group of men watching the incident can then be seen trying to alert security before a car in the motorcade pulls over and three people inside approach the driver.

“Somebody’s going to jail,” one of the men can be heard saying in the video, which is titled: “Vehicle attempts to ram Presidential Motorcade in Springfield, MO.”

The Springfield Police Department commented on the incident on Twitter, saying: “No intent of harm or disruption to motorcade,” and that the driver simply had a problem with her brakes, according to Ozarks First.

Give me a break. How many total "White Supremacists" are there in this country today? They're an incredibly inconsequential group. Just more media hype and nonsense. All we need to do is play Whack-A-Mole occasionally with that group when they think they actually matter. There is no solution for the lying, unethical, media that has a national platform with which to spew their anti-American BS.

So inconsequential that I've never met any "White Supremacists".
In fact, the racism that I witness in the City of St. Louis is against white people rather than by white people.
