Actually there have been arrests, I posted this on page 107, here it is again:

I am pretty sure a whole bunch of Somalis have been arrested in Minnesota under terrorism charges. I know for sure two Iraqis were arrested in Tennessee....the two whose prints were on the IEDs in Iraq. There have been several arrested for spying and such for Iran.

Here are some others from a very quick 20 second search of Google:

In 2010, the Somali (Mohamed Osman Mohamud) arrested on charges he planned to blow up a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Oregon was a refugee. He was arrested as he planned to detonate a bomb.

In 2012 Abdullatif Ali Aldosary (an Iraqi refugee) set off a bomb at a Social Security Office in Arizona.

In early 2016 an Iraqi refugee (Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan) living in Texas was accused of planning to bomb a local popular mall.

In September 2016, a Somali refugee went on a stabbing spree at a mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Knife attacks are signature terror acts for devout Muslims.

Also in September, the Chelsea bomber, Ahmad Rahimi, was arrested and we learned his family came to the US from Afghanistan and were given asylum.

And, we can’t forget the most recent successful attack by Somali refugee slasher, Abdul Razak Ali Artan, at Ohio State.

Lets not forgot that the attacks in Europe, most were from terrorists from the 7 ban countries.

If anyone thinks the Ninth Circus (yes I spelled it correctly, more bad overturn decisions come out of it than any other Court of Appeals), overturn it, you are very sadly mistaken. The Ninth Circus will probably expand the original Restraining Order.

Also the two Iraqis in Kentucky, immigrated and turned out to be Al Qaeda bomb builders that had killed US soldiers. They were caught after coming to the US because their prints were later found on bomb fragments in Iraq.

What all this means is that when the appellants filed their appeal (NOA), they also requested that the effect of the appealed order (TRO) be stayed until full consideration "of the emergency motion for a stay pending appeal" that they filed. Denied.

The COA (Court of Appeals) then established deadlines for the filing of appellees' opposition and appellants' reply.

IIRC, the 9th Circuit's e-filing system undergoes maintenance on Sundays from 10:00 PM until 12M. So somebody might have to deliver appellees' opposition personally. Big Grin

Sounds like ICE hasn't been doing their job. Not really a shock under the previous excuse for an administration. I'd guess that will change under President Trump.

After reading an earlier post, I thought, "What is this detainer BS? The Feds are big boys, they ought to be able to do warrants instead." However, what they are asking the states (and counties) to do is to hold these people indefinitely at their (state or county's) own expense. There are lots of reasons to say "Sorry, no." to this.

The Feds need to get serious about this in a way that a) does not leave states and counties open to legitimate lawsuits, and b) doesn't push the cost of a federal responsibility off on the states (screw unfunded mandates). I have every confidence that now that we have a president the Feds will get serious. It is about time.

The thing we must remember is that the dems are not in control of anything now.
The MSM is launching an all out attack as we all expected, the programmed, staged and paid riots and the dems are using all this artillery to their advantage to promote their lies and propaganda.
Unfortunately for them they do not have the ball!
It looks worse than it is and eventually we will forceful move in the right direction.
No need to panic.
I am not worried at all.
So thankful for DJT #45.

It's about time.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway is suggesting that new Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s promised changes to the agency will include clamping down on damaging leaks to the press, after transcripts of President Trump’s phone conversations with two world leaders were leaked.

“He has made very clear to people at State that they should expect major changes coming, and I would assume on leaking is one of them,” Conway said in an interview aired Sunday on Fox News’ “Media Buzz” with Howie Kurtz.

Conway’s comments follow White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer suggesting several days earlier to Fox that Trump has asked his team to look into the leaks.

There is no evidence so far on who leaked partial transcripts of Trump’s separate calls with Mexican President Enrique Pena and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

However, much of the speculation has focused on the State Department, particularly those from the former Obama administration, considering hundreds of agency employees purportedly signed a dissent memo on Trump’s recent executive order to temporarily ban immigration from seven mostly Muslim nations.

To be sure, Tillerson said Thursday at State Department headquarters, after being sworn-in, that he is committed to reviewing processes that need change.

Tillerson, a former ExxonMobil chief executive, said he wouldn’t make changes “for the sake of change,” but also made clear that “no one will tolerate disrespect of anyone.’’

The Associated Press

NEW HAVEN, CONN.

Protesters in Connecticut temporarily shut down a highway, delaying an ambulance that was on the road and forcing workers to perform an emergency medical procedure on a patient.

More than 100 people protesting President Donald Trump's travel ban Saturday afternoon blocked a highway in New Haven.

As protesters were being cleared from the road, state police say ambulance workers had to perform a procedure on a critically ill patient in the vehicle instead of at the hospital.

State police say they found the leader of the protest, who immediately ran away, knocking over several of his supporters, before being caught. Authorities say they used pepper spray on 66-year-old Norman Clement after he resisted arrest. Clement faces numerous charges including inciting a riot. It's unclear if he has an attorney.

Jerks. If that were one of my family members, I'd be out for blood.

BTW, the Portland Trump resistance leader was arrested for the Rape of a teen boy and of a teen girl. I don't hear the left calling him out on this for some reason. Why not?

Here is his mug shot.

here is what we are up against in CA:

http://www.breitbart.com/calif...cuments-deportation/

California State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles) said last Tuesday that “half his family” was in the country illegally, using false documents, and eligible for deportation under President Trump’s new executive order against “sanctuary” jurisdictions.

"… I can tell you half of my family would be eligible for deportation under [President Donald Trump’s] executive order, because if they got a false Social Security card, if they got a false identification, if they got a false driver’s license prior to us passing AB60, if they got a false green card, and anyone who has family members, you know, who are undocumented knows that almost entirely everybody has secured some sort of false identification. That’s what you need to survive, to work. They are eligible for massive deportation."

How about false voting abilities?

How is that not a conflict of interest? How is that not a corruption of his office?

It seems just the kind of admission that would justify a federal investigation into the voter rolls in California. Both within California and in the nation, valid votes should not be countered with illegal voters.

California is NOT Mexico. De Leon's admission is also just the kind of thing that will make the middle, right and independents out here get off their duffs and join together in new coalitions.

Generally, when one party gets too much power the lot will tend to see themselves as invincible and above accountability.

History shows such arrogance as a spur to reactionary correction.

I read that earlier today.

There are two issues I see down the road; the rule of law disappears, and the rule of economics hits hard. (ie, on the whole illegals consume much more than they produce, and CA the state budget, given the level of debt and welfare issues, will crumble. Not a good mix.

One of my first cousins, one I thought was a good kid, posted on Facebook about being arrested in DC and having their felony rioting charge dismissed or reduced already, asking for donations because they were ordered to pay legal fees.

Nuts.

Anyone who has followed such things for the past several decades shouldn’t be the least bit surprised by that development. It has happened countless times. I didn’t want to be Captain Bringdown when everyone was whooping about people being arrested on felony charges, but that was my immediate thought.
