Staring back from the abyss

| I wouldn't say "display" exactly, but I have quite a few around the house in various places. If I get burgled, well...that's why I have insurance.

Same here. I remember when we would visit my grandparents in Tennessee when you came in the front door their was a stack (at least 5) if not more of long guns up against the wall in a corner near entrance. Good memories of a better time. |

| Didn't even think about it but in my PC room I have a picture of John Wayne, one hand on his pistol and in the other hand a Winchester lever action. Above it I hung my Grandfathers 50 year oldish French built 16g SxS. Kind of looks like a coach gun. The thing still works. everything else is locked up. Always wanted a lever gun to display but I guess it will go in the safe also. |

| I've got 6 or so long guns in a gun cabinet my father and I built. Old school, cherry wood with glass front, simple barrel locks. It's out of site from windows, but will probably be a victim of our next move/downsizing. Anybody who remembers Emperor Clock Company, they did these kits in addition to grandfather clocks.
