| Chocolate meringue is #1; pumpkin #2. #3 would be either apple or cherry if not too sweet. It is very hard to find a good chocolate meringue pie commercially. I prefer that the meringue not be excessively thick (1/2" is good). flashguy

I make one using a homemade GF piecrust, deep dish pan, extra pecans, extra chocolate extra bourbon eat the next day
