I tell people I have two favorite pies.. Hot pie and cold pie..
But I think I like multi berry pie the best. And Dutch Apple.

No "one" favorite but pecan, coconut cream, and cherry top my list. Smile

I noticed no one has mentioned shoofly pie which can be very very tasty.

Warm pecan pie with Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla is my favorite. Apple pie and my wife's chocolate chip pie after that.

I rarely eat it, but Chocolate, Key Lime, Lemon Meringue, Mexican Apple with super flaky and buttery crust and Cinnamon ice cream served on a warmed fajita plate, etc.

I didn't know there was any other pie than pumpkin!

Your sister-in-law accepts guava, as I've found strawberry rhubarb down here ONCE......pumpkin though delicious, is so........pedestrian. Wink

Well, this is an easy question for me, as I only like two kinds of pie: Hot and Cold.

But seriously, folks...

I got invited to a company picnic while in California on other business and got a taste of Peach Pie made with fresh peaches. Oh. My. God. I suspect that's as close as I'll ever get to Heaven.

VERY close second would be my Aunt's mincemeat. The Gods of Olympus would like to eat that well.

Lemon meringue with graham cracker crust.

The absolute best I ever had was in Bogues restaurant in Birmingham Alabama.

Made from scratch and that slice of pie was four inches tall!

P.S. That was 53 years ago while I was in college.

Cheesecake is sort-of like a pie, so that would be my #1 if I can get a SF variance ruling in favor of putting cheesecake on the 'pie' list.

If not, then Apple, Pumpkin, Key Lime and Pecan are my favorites, in that order.

It's likely a tie between rhubarb (no strawberries!) and mincemeat. Pork pie is high on the list, too.

Oh, and Boston Cream Pie? It's a CAKE! I don't know why it gets called a pie.

Peach pie, then key lime. My grandmother used to make a strawberry pie with strawberries, strawberry jello and corn startch to thicken it that was amazing also.
