For many years we have purchased coolers from YETI for our auctions. We have auctioned off many thousands of YETI coolers each year. YETI recently dropped The NRA Foundation as a client. Not only would they not take our orders for more coolers, they forced us to cancel orders already in the system that they said they would not fill.
Any questions?

I went and looked and got the same BS canned response.

I replied again, advising them that should there have been another program offered, to please provide the details. What other organizations were affected by the termination of this program?

I don't expect a response this time.

I have a question: Where’s the guy saying we were overreacting?

Orca Coolers Was Asked About Their Stance on the Second Amendment — Their Answer Leaves No Questions
JULIO ROSAS | APR 25, 2018 | 11:06 AM
https://ijr.com/2018/04/108834...XhlLA&_hsmi=62380754

As the controversy continues between the National Rifle Association and outdoor cooler company Yeti, outdoor enthusiasts have wondered where other brands stand on the Second Amendment and the NRA.

For Orca Coolers, the company's CEO released a statement that put all concerns to rest:

Good Afternoon ORCA Nation,

We’ve gotten a lot of questions about ORCA’s stance on the 2nd Amendment, so I wanted to set the record straight. I often think bigger companies forget what got them there. ORCA will always support our 2nd Amendment rights- period. Our roots have always been with the outdoor industry - hunting, fishing, camping and enjoying our tailgates at sporting events. Our coolers are Made In The USA and we’re very proud of that. Rest assured, we will continue to support our customers, our constitution and our great country. Thank you for your continued business and support and as a token of customer appreciation, please use code USA20 for 20% off our site until April 30th!

-Cliff Walker Owner/CEO
Orca Coolers is just the latest in a long line of companies who have voiced their support for the Second Amendment. Pelican Coolers said it will donate $10 to the NRA with each purchase during the month of April.

Bison Coolers posted on its social media telling gun owners to not worry about their stance. “Don't worry, we're with you America. Keep your #2ndAmendment rights safe and secure with #BisonCoolers. #MadeInUSA and proud of it,” they stated.

RTIC Coolers' message to gun owners was simple: the text of the Second Amendment on its Facebook page.

No problem, Yeti, there's other made in the USA companies that actually have a backbone!

I was a YETI fan. Buh bye. I wanted to see all of the facts and I feel comfortable moving on from the brand.

Looks like I'll go to ORCA for my needs from now on.

Texas State Rifle Assoc’s daily e-mail contained a link to this March ‘17 article on yet another anti-2a Yeti incident. For those of you who do not know, it’s a class c misdemeanor (turns into a class a if you’re a fool and stay after verbally asked to leave) in Texas if you violate a 30.06 (concealed carry) or 30.07 (open carry) compliant sign. To me, this speaks volumes of their corporate stance on the 2A and makes their Monday statement even less believable.

As per their website....Tundra coolers are manufactured in the USA at facilities located in Minnesota and Wisconsin as well as at a facility located in the Philippines. Our Hopper coolers, Panga duffels, and Rambler drink ware are manufactured in China.

Received the Midway flyer today that features their coolers in one section. I'd have to assume the flyers were printed up before all this occurred but it would be nice to see them dump their line.

Destroying useful items you've already paid for is damn stupid. I would hope that no one who visits this forum is that dense.

Exactly... if you really wanted to hurt Yeti the best way would be for people to unload good condition used products on the market for sale, killing the market for new products.

I've run little programs at work to raise awareness. In the past some of them have had as a prize a Yeti product.

No more.

Wanted a Yeti cooler for several years but life intervened and the funds were just never available. But, thanks to downtownv's post above, I just ordered an Orca cooler (100% USA) using the discount provided. Also renewed the NRA membership back on the 24th. We should all do whatever we can to support those who support us.

The Rural King flyer in todays paper includes ads for Yeti products. Think I’ll send a note to RK mgmt advising them of Yeti’s stance and suggesting they might want to switch to RTIC or one of the other more 2A-friendly vendors! Maybe there’s a way to get Yeti products dropped by other companies that sell firearms?

Midway's flyer had them featured. But those flyers were probably produced and set for publication weeks ago.

Not RTIC - there’s any number of American made for the same price, RTIC is made in China!
