Unless Pootain decides to gather all that intel on our politicians and use it either as blackmail or out and out in the press humiliate them with the information, of course that second part presumes a press that would take the information and decide the revenue from hanging the left out to dry exceeds the revenue from hanging Trump out...

Ridiculous virtue signaling.

All these imbeciles know how to do nowadays is "cancel" people they don't like or deem bad. And here we are in 2022 with these same assholes trying to cancel an entire country. Roll Eyes

So they’re going to keep paying their employees. That means that they intend to re-open their stores and do business again at some point in the future. If they actually stood for anything, they would close-up shop and never go back. Hypocrites and whores.

The reality is that these companies cannot get money in or out, so they’re closing. I don’t think Pepsi wants to be paid in warships again.

This “propaganda war” that is being waged reminds me of the WW1 sloganeering about the “Rape of Belgium”, with the most egregious being “Bouncing Belgian Babies on Boche Bayonets”. Not everything you see and hear is going to be true.

Remember, the first casualty in war is the truth, which is attended to by a bodyguard of lies.

Cancelling a performance of Tchaikovsky is absurd. We didn’t cancel Bach, Beethoven, or Mozart during WWII.

Have you been paying attention for the last 2 years? After cancelling the confederate generals, they have tried to cancel Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, George Washington, and even Abraham Lincoln. A composer is child's play for them. Cancelled.

Absurdity is the definition of the woke left and they never fail to top themselves each time.

That idiot on MSNBC (yeah, far too general I know) says we only care about Ukraine because they are white, and we didn't care about Syria because they aren't.

Except Syrians ARE white by definition of the US government, as are Iranians, Turks, and middle easterners in general.

Why do we care about Ukraine? Because a lot of Americans have ancestors from Poland, the Balkans, Ukraine, Russia, and other countries in the region. We share culture, and some share religion as well. To many people, including friends of mine, this is their family and friends back in the old country - fighting, dying, or becoming refugees. Or they are waiting to see if their neighboring homelandcountry gets pulled into it. And because this is Russia sticking his finger in NATO's eye and saying "you can't have this one", and because this is the first major war in Europe since WWII caused by a nuclear power, and any escalation by NATO could lead to nuclear war.

Syria, nope, nothing that happens there is of this much consequence.
