Special counsel Robert Mueller's team has expressed reluctance to him testifying publicly in front of the House Judiciary Committee, according to sources familiar with the matter.

"Mueller's team" who is the mysterious Mueller mouth piece?

The special counsel's team has expressed the notion that Mueller does not want to appear political after staying behind the scenes for two years and not speaking as he conducted his investigation into President Donald Trump. One option is to have him testify behind closed doors, but sources caution numerous options are being considered in the negotiations between the committee and the special counsel's team.

"does not want to appear political" what a joke

The Mueller report is a biased one sided report that takes every opportunity to paint Donald Trump in the worst possible light.

If Mueller testifies, he is open to several risks.

If he challenges AG Barr's conclusions, he will really open himself up to serious blowback from DoJ. Barr will address head on any BS that Mueller might spew. Barr will attack w facts.

The REPs could bring up a host of important things that Mueller did not address.

The REPs could also publicly address all the cases where the Mueller report cherry picked info and left out all the context and all the contradictory info.

Reading the Mueller report is just like reading the highly redacted Carter Page FISA warrant. Cherry picking, hiding contradictory info, and flat out lying.

and perhaps the biggest risk is that the promise of declassifying some very damaging information about the FBI and how this whole farce started is hopefully getting close to being fulfilled.

If he doesn't want to appear political, then he's gonna have to leave the planet altogether, because everything this son of a bitch has done for the past 2+ years is entirely political.

Just who in the fuck does this guy think he's fooling??

It's CNN - need I say more? CNN is giving cover to the House Democrats.

This is a plan to make it appear that Muller won't/can't appear so that it gives the House cover for not bringing him in (which they are afraid to do).

They know the Republicans will rip him and the whole collusion delusion narrative a new one.

They want to make it appear that they are trying to bring him in, but alas, in the end they will "forgive" Muller for not coming in.

That way those believing the Democrat B.S. will continue to do so - without revealing that they can't risk any live TV of Republican questioning of him.

If DC has such a rule, the race is on. (Sorry, I did not look up the federal or state rules.)

Will the records be disclosed before the appeal is filed and the bank duly notified?

Usually, the courts defer to litigants for status quo until both sides have a chance for review. If a litigant defied the COURT earlier on the same issue, I've seen courts cut off as much as possible to just get something done to avoid delay.

There was no court delay in this case of which I'm aware.

Seems like the judge here wanted a result without review - a political result. There seems no special urgency for 8 year old records.

There is no justification whatsoever for this ridiculous judge's opinion.

This judge, like so many others, is a total disgrace operating 100% on ideology, while at the same time urinating on the US Constitution. Ladies and gentlemen, please take note. This is the face of the enemy....

The hell with it. Trump's legal crew should file their appeal and claim this legal precedent exists and is in place. Let the liars and filth challenge that too. But under no circumstances should any compliance whatsoever be afforded this POS District judge's decision. Time to ramp it up 100% and play total hard ball from here on out.

bigdeal, I thought the records were in the hands of a third party - the bank. I thought the order was about what the bank is required to do.

Until stay, the order is that the bank must give the records.

Hence, the race is on.

Will the records get delivered before the bank is duly notified that a stay prevents them from delivering?

Where seeking old records, though, it usually takes banks a long time to find and copy them for production.

Shapiro on recent court ruling removing PDJT's and every future president evers privacy. The fact that there is no probable cause to investigate and the completely unprecedented idea that any elected officials financial/tax records are up for political battle and fishing expeditions is insane.

Why does presumption of innocence and Bill of Rights not apply? Why can they investigate if there is no legislative purpose for the investigation and no crimes committed?

Obstruction Is The New Racism

The incessant racket about obstruction leaves me thinking the word is soon to be as useless and widely distained as the word “racism.” If everything is racism, little will be taken seriously as racism.

Of course, when Trump defends himself, the presidency or his administration, Dems call it obstruction. I’ve even heard Dems start stating that Trump’s current actions are obstruction.

Trump questions whether Comey, Mueller or AG Sessions should stay on and Dems call it obstruction.

But, Democrats’ current calls to fire AG Barr or demand that he resign is no problem. To them, it’s OK when they use free speech about an AG or an open investigation. The public is getting tired of the duplicity and it's worn thin.

Trump invoking executive privilege, like every president for decades on end, is now asserted by the Dems as obstruction.

If Trump challenges a subpoena in court, he is branded as lawless and obstructionist.

It will not be long before the wolf-calling Democrats drain all meaning out of the word .

Like hearing that everything shows racism, the public is tuning out the brainless use of the word “obstruction.”

The hoax of the collusion deception has ended in an unceremonious thud. Now, the “water is wet” report about how a country tried to affect another country’s election has devolved into turning the word “collusion” into political ipecac.

Hopefully, voters will have that taste of Democrats in their mouths come voting time. . . . Throw em' out!

I think I can see the beginnings of weariness on the part of even many Democrats. The repetition of the same labels, when they have absolutely no relativity to the subject is mind numbing...... Roll Eyes - indeed mind numbing!

The REDUNDANT USE of the over-worn "race card", "homophobic card", "right wing extremist card", and all the other silly cards is just stupid.

Mad

I see it as an extension of third grade name calling - you don't have and arguement, so you name call.... "you are ugly" , your ears are too big", nobody likes you", "your momma....[whatever]...."

It is all the last resort of someone who is not creative and has no point or even the capability to think of one.

REPORT: Trump Walked into Room with Pelosi and Schumer, BLASTED THEM, Cancelled Mtg on the Spot and Walked Out!

President Trump spoke with reporters on Wednesday morning following his meeting with Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

This was also after Pelosi told reporters earlier that President Trump was involved in a “cover-up.”

President Trump left the meetings and held an impromptu press conference with the liberal White House press corps.

President Trump told reporters, “I don’t do cover-ups.”

Trump again told reporters there was “no collusion” and “obstruction.”

According to the Number 2 Democrat in the US Senate, Dick Durbin, the president walked into the room with Pelosi and Schumer, blasted them, cancelled the meeting on the spot and walked out!

It was a short meeting!

What the hell did they expect after Pelosi talked to reporters and saying Trump was engaging in a cover up right before the meeting. Trump was visibly pissed and I don't blame him. He should have had them escorted out of the WH by Secret Service agents.

Exactly. And there is one person they could charge and arrest TODAY, McCabe. They have plenty of evidence he lied to the FBI both under and not under oath. His indictment would be a gimme and a shot across the bow.

But they won't.

I agree a thousand times over! So far all we are getting is "when this is made public it's a game changer" Or we are going to declassify all the dirty little secrets of the Fisa abuses and make them public...soon...someday soon...When this report comes out Comey is going to need two lawyers and Brennan 5! After hearing about Trump walking out on Pelosi and Schumer this morning, I researched some election results.

Pelosi represents the second-smallest congressional district by area in the country. Smallest is in NYC. Her district was reduced in size a few years ago from SFO and some surrounding counties, to just the city of SFO itself.

In 2016, only 270,000 votes were cast in her favor, while nearly 63 MILLION voted for Trump. She got approximately 0.44% of the votes that Trump got. Less than one-half of one percent of the country voted for her, but she is insisting on running the country.

I voted for Trump. Statistically speaking, nobody voted for Pelosi.

Who the FUCK does she think she is?
