and there it is President Trump: I am pleased to announce that highly respected Congressman John Ratcliffe of Texas will be nominated by me to be the Director of National Intelligence. A former U.S. Attorney, John will lead and inspire greatness for the Country he loves. Dan Coats, the current Director, will.... ....be leaving office on August 15th. I would like to thank Dan for his great service to our Country. The Acting Director will be named shortly. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx William Barr as AG and John Ratcliffe as DNI. That is a powerful line up. Both men know the conspiracy to frame Trump.

If I’m not mistaken, Governors can only appoint Senators; there are no temporary appointments to the House—must be filled by a Special Election only. --------------------- LGBFJB "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on, or by imbeciles who really mean it." — Mark Twain “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.” — H. Hadn't seen that previously, but that was simply awesome. No punches pulled and a direct confrontation on the issues. That's how it's supposed to be done. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. Every man should have several guns. It has been 65 days since Trump authorized Barr to release classified information related to the attempted coup. There is a very high probability that DNI Coats was refusing to authorize declassification of materials within his purview. POTUS and AG cannot override DNI, so a new DNI was needed. So Coats out, Ratcliffe in. Let’s see what happens now. NRA Life Member - "Fear God and Dreadnaught"

Obama CIA Dir John Brennan not happy about Ratcliffe Brennan: "Dan Coats served ably & with deep integrity. Ratcliffe showed abject subservience to Trump in Mueller hearings. The women & men in the Intelligence Community deserve a leader like Coats who puts nation first; not a servile Trump loyalist like Ratcliffe." I think Brennan has good reason(s) to worry about Ratcliffe. Because Brennan was part of the Obama administration conspiracy against Donald Trump. Everything Ratcliffe said in the Mueller session was true and extremely important.

John Ratcliffe, who aggressively questioned Mueller last week, will be nominated by Trump as the next director of national intelligence SANDMAN LAWSUIT: $250 million lawsuit from Covington student against Washington Post dismissed by judge. A $250 million defamation lawsuit filed by Kentucky high school student Nicholas Sandmann against The Washington Post was dismissed by a federal judge on Friday afternoon. Judge William O. Bertelsman ruled that seven Washington Post articles and three tweets focusing on the Covington Catholic High School student, who became the center of a viral confrontation with a Native American elder in Washington, D.C., earlier this year, were protected by the First Amendment and deemed opinion. “Few principles of law are as well-established as the rule that statements of opinion are not actionable in libel actions,” wrote Bertelsman, a Carter appointee. “The statements that Sandmann challenges constitute protected opinions that may not form the basis for a defamation claim.” Sandmann’s suit characterized the Post’s coverage as libelous. The judge, however, cited case law that the statements made in the stories on Sandmann must be “more than annoying, offensive or embarrassing.” Instead, the judge found, the statements must expose the party — in this case Sandmann — to public hatred, contempt and ridicule. TRUMP SPARS WITH CUMMINGS OVER BALTIMORE: Pres. Trump lashed out at Rep. SCOTUS GIVES TRUMP A WIN ON BORDER WALL: SCOTUS allows Trump to use $2.5 billion in military funds to build 100 miles of border wall. Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Jul 26 Wow! House GOP fears retirement wave will lead to tsunami BY REID WILSON - 07/30/19 06:00 AM EDT The Hill > https://thehill.com/homenews/c...will-lead-to-tsunami ============================================ The article seems to be written from a leftist perspective, but contains information which bears watching ===================================== excerpts: ................. ........."“There are going to be a lot more [retirements] to come,” said one consultant who works for House Republicans. “Between people finding themselves having to actually work hard for the first time in their long, lazy careers and members who came in in the majority and now hate life in the minority, it's just getting started.” Two of the members who announced their retirements last week — Reps. Paul Mitchell (R-Mich.) and Martha Roby (R-Ala.) — represent deep-red districts where their successor will almost certainly be chosen in the Republican primary. But a third, Rep. Pete Olson (R-Texas), holds a seat that is likely to be competitive. Olson won election to his final term by just five percentage points in 2018, and Democrats have signaled that districts like his, in the rapidly-growing Houston suburbs, are their prime targets. Six Republicans have now said they will not seek reelection next year. Two more, Reps. Bradley Byrne (R-Ala.) and Greg Gianforte (R-Mont.), are running for a different office. The National Republican Congressional Committee is keeping a close eye on members who represent potentially vulnerable districts through its Patriot Program. Chris Pack, a spokesman for the NRCC, said they do not anticipate a rush of departures in the coming months. "It's just a matter of keeping the conference engaged, and that's what Chairman [Tom] Emmer (R-Minn.) is trying to do," Pack said. Trump says Washington Post should apologize to McConnell over 'Russian asset' column BY BRETT SAMUELS - 07/30/19 09:58 AM EDT The Hill > https://thehill.com/homenews/a...connell-over-russian ============================================ " President Trump on Tuesday said The Washington Post should apologize to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) after it published an opinion piece titled "Mitch McConnell is a Russian asset" that criticized the senator's opposition to election security legislation. "I think the Washington Post is a Russian asset by comparison," Trump told reporters as he left the White House for a trip to Virginia. ADVERTISEMENT "Mitch McConnell loves our country. He's done a great job," Trump added, noting that he did not read the piece. "If they actually said that, that Mitch McConnell is an asset of Russia, they ought to be ashamed of themselves, and they ought to apologize."..... .... ========================================= The Washington Post is a lowlier rag than I ever realized if they actually did this ====================================== update: Yes they are ^^^ Here it is > https://www.washingtonpost.com...m_term=.99a1b8aed473 =================================== This is all about McConnell not playing along with the liberal" let's chase the Russian Collusion some more" What a bunch of Baloney! *********************** * Diligentia Vis Celeritis * *********************** "Thus those skilled in war subdue the enemy's army without battle .... Thank you Very little |
Rush has been pushing for Trump to do a rally or at least go to California, and I agree, and not to take a shot at CA, its problems from a blame standpoint, but to show support for those there that support conservative values and policies. It would be great to see a venue packed with Trump Supporters in CA, at maybe two or three events, of course with the usual suspects outside protesting. As Rush says it is a good opportunity to point out the problems, and what has happened to a great state with the leftist progressive policies and what the rest of the country needs to be concerned about. Go to Cali Mr President

I'm loving this whole Baltimore thing because Trump has managed to focus the American people's attention on the fact that they've been given BILLIONS of dollars for all this economic and structural improvement and EVERY dime of that has disappeared into the the deep pockets of Democrat cronies and the people are STILL living in these Third-World shithole conditions. Make no mistake about it, all these cries of "RACISM!" are the Democrats panicking like crazy because Trump just shined a huge light on them.
