Shiner Holiday Cheer. The mother-in-law left one in the fridge after our Christmas Eve get-together.



Not terrible, but not something I'd pay for. Tastes like someone spilled peach juice in a subpar wheat beer. (I'm not sure why they associated peaches with the holidays anyway...)

Standard Springbank 21 (black/gold label and box) is matured in a mixture of Bourbon and Fino Sherry casks. The Springbank 21 "Open Day" expression (green/gold label and box) was a single cask release that was matured in a rum cask (outturn of somewhere between 159-174 bottles, depending on who you ask Wink ). Identical ABV for both expressions (i.e., 46%).
