I took my family and visited a had full of distilleries in our 2 weeks we spent in July. Drove 2300 miles and still didn't see 60% of it.

Grumpy you recommended this Stout and it has become my favorite. It took a few four packs but it is so good.

Glad you like it.
Most of the folks I know who try it say it's too strong in flavor but I find it's just right.

Kalifornia goobers. North Coast Brewing pulled out of the Carolinas. I am without Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout.

Great flavor. Unobtanium. So. I am stuck doing stuff like Left Hand Brewing Wake Up Dead Imperial Stout.

OK. I tried. I haven't woke up dead. I have to augment Left Hand Imperial Stout with Parkers Heritage Collection Cask Strength Kentucky Wheat Whiskey.

They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

Boodles/Martini and Rossi gibson martini here.

For the Old Rasputin lovers. If you see it, give New Holland's Dragon's Milk and/or Weyerbacher's Heresy a try. Both are bourbon barrel stouts and very good as well.

Pitcher of Sauza Silver Margaritas. Walked down with the wife to a neighborhood restaurant (BelAir Cantina), and wife decided she wanted to split a pitcher of Margaritas with dinner. First sip, and she states "I don't like Tequila." OK, I'm up for the challenge. Very tasty.

Food was excellent. Beautiful dinner partner. Beautiful fall night.

I got hooked on this when I was working in Puerto Rico. There was a lime tree in my back yard, so squeeze the juice of 1/4 fresh lime into a glass, add ice, Ron del Barralito 3-Star, and tonic. Mmmm...

The guy who owns the hangar that I rent for V-Tail headquarters, is an airline pilot, so he and his family get free travel. He told me that he was taking the family to Puerto Rico for a short vacation. I told him to drink some Barralito for me -- the best rum I have ever tasted.

He brought a bottle back for me. Thanks, Buzz! I bought a bag of fresh limes, and Mrs. V-Tail and I are getting to the end of that bottle. Panic -- I don't know of any stores locally that carry this. Second best, easier to find, is Bacardi Añejo.
