Merlet Creme de Cassis (black currant liqueur). I don’t usually drink such stuff, but it’s Christmas time. Super rich flavor!

BTW – I wish someone would fix the thread title. It ought to be changed from “Whats in your glass…” to “What’s in your glass…”. Bothers me, but no chance, probably…

Devil's River Rye, a gift from my parent's neighbor, it is smooth and could be a bit more rye-ish, quite drinkable. As a thank you gift I just finished baking him a loaf of challah bread, extra butter. The challah was 'smooth' also. My father opened his Glenmorangie Spios and approves.

The same Ravenswood Cabernet that I used to make the Tuscan beef stew.

Yum.

Stumbled onto this beer this past fall at a small restaurant in Marquette, MI. When you've been at something for nearly 1,000 years... wow, extremely smooth.

I'm on the ship so I'm drinking coffee.

But the wife is in France with her family and had this lovely drop this evening. Yes I'm jealous.

Merlet “Creme de Cassis” (black currant liqueur). As I said above, I don’t usually drink such stuff, but of the fruity liqueurs, this stuff is GOOD!

Another Old Fashioned kinda night ... bacon infused maple bourbon, maple syrup, and just the right amount of bitters.

GA Gator, how are you liking the ECSB? I lucked into the ECBP, and a KCSB Rye, and a Col EH Taylor SB. For all three, I preferred the entry level offerings.

It is excellent. Sometimes A single barrel can be hit or miss. But this barrel is very good. One of the best bourbons Ive ever had. I have been drinking bourbon for decades long before it was popular with the millennial.

Has a sweetness of honey and fruit then finishes with the perfect amount of spiciness.

I am getting a post dinner glass or two tonight as well.
