Trying JW Dant BiB tonight. The JTSB BiB is scarce here. The Dant has a sweet uptake, a little hot finish at first but is mellowing. Pleasant, less intense than the ET.

For me too. If you can find it try JTS Brown Bottled in Bond. Everyone's taste is different but don't let the price scare you.

Redbreast Small Batch B1/19

Cask strength at 57.2% EtOH. Got a bottle of this, and one of the Lustau this weekend. Probably could use 1 ice cube, but I’m working the taste. I like it, but there were only 252 bottles of this released...

Redbreast is truly outstanding. Middleton is even better though. Sooner or later I'm going to visit the distillery, since the bottle of Middleton that was slowly consumed during my divorce to mark each milestone came with an invitation.

Tonight I am having Old Hamer Bourbon with Lockdown Old Fashioned mix, both made in Indiana.

Found this today, while in grabbing some bottled in bond to refill the cabinet.

Not heard of it, but Heritage is a nice local distillery so I figured I’d take a chance. Plus, 1st Special Forces! How can you say no?

And it is indeed a very nice blend. And an über cool bottle.

WhistlePig Rye 10yr. A buddy gave it to me when I was on a "Rare Breed" kick, but this is an amazing whiskey!

When you do the tour, opt for the “premium tasting” session at the end. It included a Middleton Very Rare, Redbreast 12-yr, Power’s Johns Lane, and Jameson Black Barrel. Nice stop on our way to Killarney.

Czechvar Lager. The recent thread on recommending a clean, crisp beer prompted my choice this afternoon. Quite refreshing, sucked two of them down before I knew it. Smile
