But this is great news. And that red card was total bullshit.

Cape Verde taking Argentina to the brink was an amazing game.

I'll watch the 6'5" Norwegian Viking Halaand against Brazil this afternoon, and the 5'7" Argentinian Messi, maybe the best player ever on Tuesday. I only watch soccer during the world cup but it is an interesting sport.

Glad we got Balogun back, it was a bullshit red card.

I did not expect for Norway to win. Good strategy by the coach.

There’s a wonderful photo of President Trump (with Gianni Infantino) in this article. Scroll down just a bit.

“American soccer pundits are celebrating after USMNT striker Folarin Balogun has been cleared to play in the Round of 16 of the World Cup - a decision made after President Donald Trump allegedly appealed to FIFA. …”

Crazy game with England playing a man down for practically the whole second half and 11 minutes of stoppage time

England had to defend with 10 players for FIFTY-FIVE Minutes...Playing NOT ONLY against the Mexican Team, but also against the Referee, and the VAR. Even the the Announcers seemed in on it!

FIFA... Roll Eyes

An incredible match, and England’s one-man-down defense was absolutely ‘brilliant’ (to use their term)! Very calm, disciplined, patient, and aggressive when necessary.

I was watching England #10 Bellingham (who scored 2 goals) in the last minute of the game. He had absolutely no gas left in the tank, and could not run to get back to defend. I don't think England could have held on for another minute, but they held on just long enough.

Norway v. England will be a great game.

The Kane kick at the ball in the air that accidentally kicked the Mexican player and led to a penalty, indicates to me soccer is a dumb game.

You kick at a ball and have inadvertent contact, then you might lose the game for it? Seems like a fairly minor infraction getting a huge punishment.

Soccer is not a dumb sport. That was one of the most suspense filled games I’ve ever watched. Yes it had VERY bad calls by the referee but the end result was one of the best performances I have ever seen by a team. For England to pull off that defense for that long while being a man down was truly remarkable.

People say this sport is boring. Games like Mexico vs England show how wrong they are.
