I gotta be honest, I'm enjoying these videos of various country's fans recording their experiences checking out the US and Mexico, eating the foods, enjoying the areas they're in. From the Japanese guy in Texas eating a beef rib for the first time, the Brit enjoying biscuits & gravy, Scottish fans enjoying a baseball game at Fenway, the astonishment of free chips & salsa for the table, Korean fans vibing-out with the Mexican fans in Guadalajara, the Swedish girl discovering Ranch dressing, the Dutch guy explaining why AC in Texas is really necessary, etc... Obviously a good chunk of these vids are simply reaction videos but, seeing these people traveling around the country disproving the news media narrative that's been forced-fed for a generation....enjoy your time here ya'll, there's a lot to see.

This guy gets it, if the initial events were held in Portland, the video content being put out would be very different.

Saw a reel on Insta. Dude has bet $100 on a tie every game so far and he was +2600. The Spain draw paid 13x. None of the bookies had that one.

Yes the euros and Asians heads exploding at rural and semi rural America is great. Also enjoying reels of adult children of immigrants now making a success of themselves getting their (usually) dad tickets to their national team game. And dad is crying at the generosity and next real dad is losing his mind at the game.

And Freddy needs to be protected at all costs.

Scotland is Playing in Miami against Brazil for their final. Beat Haiti, lost to Morrocco in the second and going to miami for their final. The Tartan Army showed up, 50,000 by some estimates and had a rocking good time in Boston for the first two matches. So much they literally drank the town dry, and attended a Red Sox Game. A good time was apparently had by all.

I landed in Edinburgh Scotland on the morning of June 11th. Saw an endless stream of fans in, and entering the airport. Saw a guy wearing a kilt and a big Uncle Sam hat. The excitement in Scotland is electric.

I'm the most casual of soccer fans only checking in on soccer during the World Cup. Seems like Messi can still lead his team at 38 (watching Argentina game right now). Messi is now in the elite of the elite in World Cup history.

At 41 Ronaldo (Portugal) likely has something to contribute to his team but he's not approaching it as a contributor on the backside of his career. Ronaldo appears to be trying to hold onto the starring role and he no longer has the speed/skills to dominate anymore. It sounds like his teammates are starting to resent him and the Portuguese coach needs to take control and reel back his minutes.

U.S. looking good, really good. I love seeing the stories of all the foreigners having a good time in the US. Oh yeah, Zlatan's commentary cracks me up.

My neighbors oldest son works for one of the largest beer/liquor Distributors in the Boston area. He said the Scots literally drank the city dry last week. Had to add 2 extra delivery routes today. Big Grin

Lionel Messi now has 5 goals in two games.

He’s now the highest scorer in the World Cup history.

Norway 3-Senegal 2 was a good watch last night. Two for Haaland. Senegal almost stole a draw though.

FOX must have begged Zlatan to tone it down a little so he did - very little.

USA v Turkey 7:00 pacific time today.

We will be putting up a B squad because of yellow cards and don’t want to risk losing the players in the next round.

Christian Pulisic may or may not play because of his injury.

GO USA!!!

Pulisic looked good, we should have scored 5 tonight.

Defense had their heads square up their asses tonight.

That game was a tough one to lose in the last few seconds but the outcome didn’t really matter. On to the next round for the USA. Cool

WTF is up with that, can somebody with better game knowledge shed some light on why teh defense looked so porous? Is Turkey that good...they clearly came out aggressive, pushed the ball hard and when on defense faced-up and closed the gap on every single pass .
Did the US play a different defense? guys benched? Clearly the Trusty's injury led the team short-handed and allowed Turkey an easy goal

Because the USA had already won the group, the coach chose to play a B Team line up.

We had 4 starters on yellow cards so he didn’t want to risk any of them for the knockout stage. If you get 2 yellow cards in the first 3 games you get suspended for the next game.

The lineup was a group of players that had never played together in a match before.

The game didn’t matter one way or another.

At the end of the day it was a protective squad put on the field.
