I say use the standard pillowcase of doorknobs.

It better be a stout pillowcase, as much centrifugal force will be generated followed by a sudden stop. Rinse and repeat until the crowd has had enough fun.

I agree with prior comments that it's becoming clear to the media and big money interests that Kamala would barely survive a first term, if even, and would never get re-elected. But the party would have a hard time shoving her aside for a another candidate.

The Republican that wins in 2028 would likely stay in office 8 years. Trump only has 4 years and cannot run for re-election so 2028 will be a chance at winning another 8 years with a better candidate.

Kind of a prisoner's dilemma.

Just heard Big Mike speaking at a rally for the second idiot in chief.

It was all fear mongering about abortion. Claiming states with abortion limits would prevent women from being treated for ectopic pregnancies until they are near death. And on and on with more lies and how Donald Trump will make it worse.

Thing is, SCOTUS gave it back to the states. That means the Federal government no longer has jurisdiction, just as there are no national laws for state-level murder or other violent crimes. Congress is unlikely to pass federal abortion legislation regardless of who is President anyway.

Seems this is all the women in the audience care about.

Kamala Booed After Beyoncé Bait-N-Switch

quote:

The Kamala Harris rally in Houston last night was billed as a Beyoncé concert. Everyone, including the media, believed the singer would perform after the announcement was made earlier in the week, but all she did was walk out and make a barely audible speech for a few minutes. Then the rally descended into complete chaos.

She is just a tragic, pathetic character in U.S. history. Stupid, incompetent, a pathological liar, a scumbag. Chance in the film Being There is far more intelligent. Multiple outlets NBC, CNN, Huff Post, etc. etc. marketed her Houston "rally" as a Beyonce performance, knowing she was not going to do shit. Just another daily Harris decision that went to shit instantly, she is literally batting .000.

Harris Faces Progressive Backlash Over Campaign Alliance with Liz Cheney
by Ian Garrison
October 26, 2024

Vice President Kamala Harris is facing scrutiny from progressive Democrats as she joins forces with former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney on the campaign trail. Their collaboration is centered on warning voters about the implications of a second Donald Trump presidency, and it has sparked a debate about the Vice President’s focus on her Democratic base.
Key figures like Senator Bernie Sanders have raised alarms regarding Harris’ decision to campaign alongside Cheney. Sanders noted that many working-class voters might be more aligned with Harris’ policies than conservative Republicans. He emphasized the importance of connecting with these voters as the elections approach, suggesting that the current campaign strategy may not resonate well with her core supporters.
Adam Green, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, criticized the apparent disconnect between Harris’ campaign advertisements focused on economic issues and her public appearances with Cheney. Green warned that this misalignment could alienate progressive voters who may feel sidelined by the decision to partner with a former Republican leader. Concerns have been raised that this strategy could lead some progressives to reconsider their support, possibly opting for alternative candidates, including Trump.
During their campaign events in battleground states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, Harris and Cheney have highlighted the dangers posed by a potential return of Trump. They have specifically cited his actions surrounding the 2020 election results and the January 6, 2021, Capitol riots as threats to democracy and national security. Cheney’s experience, especially her views on the fragility of democracies, plays a significant role in their joint message.
Trump has responded to the Harris-Cheney alliance with harsh criticism, calling Cheney “dumb as a rock.” Despite this, Harris has garnered support from a notable group of Republicans, including over 100 national security officials and individuals associated with former Presidents McCain, Bush, and Romney. This bipartisan backing underscores a faction of the GOP that is willing to support Harris amidst their discontent with Trump.
In her recent discussions, Harris has indicated that her potential presidency would bring new ideas, distinguishing herself from the current Biden administration. Progressive proponents like Joseph Geevarghese from Our Revolution stress the need for Harris to prioritize economic issues if she hopes to win over voter support.
While the campaign strategy to engage with moderate Republican voters through Cheney might appeal to some, it has divided opinions within the Democratic base. The effectiveness of this approach, as well as its long-term implications for Harris’ political future, remains to be seen as the 2024 election approaches.

Cheney is entirely a creation of our activist media. She speaks for a handful of swamp creatures and practically zero actual voters. Kind of ironic that these people ended up betting so big on a mirage of their own making.

It is very funny, but *way* too coherent to have come from Joe Biden.
