We will be done in by something we have absolutely no control of by any possible mechanism, just like all the other multiple mass extinctions and worldwide die offs over earth's history. The human races are a VERY TINY little sliver of the history of life on earth. Who knows if we'll be a successful adapting to whatever comes our way.

Worry not my friends, PBS is still promoting that drivel and will save us all by indoctrinating the children. I could not believe the crap I was hearing on a cartoon show nonetheless. I suspect that is the largest audience they can find that will listen.
