Who was the pilot that we thought had been killed in a crash, but it turned out to be one of his co-workers?

There were some epic threads with him until Para tired of his shit and dropped the banhammer upon his head.

Dang, I thought he was still here based on the number of threads he gets closed. Wink

But regardless, who was it that felt mall cops should be treated as first responders by Sig?

I don't remember his actual username, but he quickly earned the title, "LL Mall J". He was all bent because the Sig CSR wouldn't give him the LEO discount.

Ah, yes, the legendary Gecko45 and his original mall ninja post. But, was that post written on here? I thought it was originally posted on GT? And, the legend was born.

Even though the Mall Ninja thread started elsewhere, I think it's tied with the 'live by the gun' thread as most epic threads.

I remember so well because as a retired sailor I was surprised to have qualified thinking it should only apply to officers, deputies, and agents. Then the mall cop, who wasn't allowed to carry on the job (as I recall), gets peeved cause of how important he was. That rubbed my fur the wrong way.

It was at GlockTalk. And Tamara (was a mod at GT and think she's a member here but haven't seen a post by her in ages) worked with him for a time at a gun shop.

Years ago there was a member (can't remember his name) that was a mounted Canadian police officer that was involved with the filming of the bridge scene for the movie "The Untouchables".

He had some great photos of the cast and crew and shared some insights on Kevin Costner and the rest of them.

If I remember right, Para even gave him a cut cause the whole thing was just so cool.

It all blurs together for me. So much good, so VERY little of the normal forum issues. You all remember so much better than me. I remember >>>>WHATEVERTHE FUCK THIS GUY WAS<<<<. And many of the good fundraisers for friends. And gay cake. hahaha

I remember Jallen making an incredibly respectable and honorable exit. That dude was something else.
