Evil exists. You can not negotiate with, bribe or placate evil. You're not going to be able to have it sit down with Dr. Phil for an anger management session either.

Top of the list is the raffle for Mrs. Horse and the part arcwelder76 played in keeping it all together.

I miss jallen.

Always enjoyed the post where 2 Sigs got together and had a baby Sig. Laughed a lot over that one.

I remember Alice to the Moon returning here to troll around for a short while. The guy with the cookie in the shower with an HK rifle. Buying guns from 220ST.

My illness last year. Here, the SIGforum community taught me lessons, this time in community. ceptor781, and all the rest, thank you.

My marriage implosion five years ago. Once again, the SIGforum community stepped up to help me through the worst time of my life, other than those associated with illness or trauma.

JAllen's long illness. I learned quite a few things about courage, dignity, and humility watching that play out.

The bottom line is this is a community of men (and a few women) who deserve the title real mensch .

I've been here a good while and remember most of what's been mentioned. I sometimes feel bad that I don't participate more but so many here no so much more than I do about a lot of things that I often don't feel I can contribute much.

Not a day goes by since I've joined that I'm not on here reading, learning, and admiring. You people, yes I said you people are the finest group I've had the pleasure of associating myself with, ever. The generosity and caring nature of the members here always amazed me, Sigforum attracts some good folks.

"you people" didn't go so well for Don Cherry but I'm hoping Para doesn't fire me.

There have been many great moments here. For me, the Spectre incident was by far the best. I was updating and reading that thread to my family that day and there was not a dry eye in the room.

Although still ongoing, I also consider the response to the sabotage of the P230 raffle pretty awesome.

While not in the same league, several of the flameouts have been hilarious. The best have been mentioned, but I give an honorable mention to the guy who complained that he never won karmas because were rigged in favor of the "popular" forum members. Big Grin

It was a long time ago, and probably only personally meaningful to me, but when we were planning Randy Lee's Tactical Shotgun Class it seems to me we had at least two, maybe 3 threads of 100 pages each; lbj had to rein in our enthusiasm a little. But dang, that was a FUN class!

Cliff and I were “activated” the same day. I was thankful that I had passed all of the tests and signed all of the waivers correctly.

I laughed so much the next few days, my wife asked me what kind of porn I was watching on the ipad....oh, my lord, I still laugh. Cliff was the guy who entered the house after banging on the door for days and then promptly takes a dump just past the threshold once he was admitted.

This is a place that opens up like a set of encyclopedias which is more vast than can be imagined due to the character and vast experience of the members.
