Considering my point of origin, must say i’ve been very lucky to meet Mo4040, nhtagmember and Sigmund. Also met a couple of other members back in May 2001 and 2002 while attending Sigarms courses but haven’t kept in touch nor remember their handles.

Not bad, uh? Cool

I met JAllen long ago, at a Texas CHL meet up in San Antonio. I met UTSig about 8 years ago and he has been a great friend since, and I visit him whenever I get a chance!

I've probably passed some of y'all on the freeway too, without even knowing.

Met Chowser in Ravenna, Ohio when I sold him a pistol. That was years ago but he was a nice guy. He's law enforcement and a pretty big guy IIRC.

Years ago ( I think around 2004) I attended a SF shoot at Sunset Hill Range in NE Pa. I can't remember was there; many of the members are no longer active here.

Around the same time I was in Fresno, Ca. for business and met up with jackson and her husband (he was a helicopter pilot in the Navy). I don't think she's active here either.

I've never met BigJoe but we commmunicate and one of these days when I'm driving through WV I will find him and buy him lunch!

Yes, you are one of the people who was at that shoot whose name I couldn't remember!

I recall a similar thread some time back. I posted then what I'm posting now. Living in the sparsely populated expanse of flyover country and no longer one who "travels well," opportunities to meet fellow members are extremely rare. I have met walkinghorse though who lives not all that far south of me. That's it. But I also have established good rapport with many via email. So there's that. Big Grin

2023 may offer an opportunity to meet both old_dino and Appliance Brad both of whom have plans to be in my neck of the woods. We'll see....

I have met several. I think the first I met was TKO from Arizona for an Arizona SigForum shoot. Not knowing me from anyone or me knowing him, he invited me to stay at his home. I flew to Arizona for the shoot, stayed with him and his wife, had a great time, and met other SigForum members I don’t remember names of.

Then of course I became friends with JALLEN and met with him many times and was at his bedside just before he passed away.

After he passed away, I helped his wife sell off much of his gun related items and met several Texas members during that time. I apologize I don’t remember names but every single person I have met from here has been a great person!

Ugh Victoria, TX. I did a crazy ass 6 month investigation with the FBI there back in 2000. Crazy stuff of crawling in the night on the ground wearing camouflage to do surveillance and installing surveillance cameras in trees to watch several homes. Didn’t meet any SigForum members, but that is a time I will NEVER forget.

I met several at r2mach1`s shoots in Ft. Morgan. LBJ, Modern Day Savage, Sweden, and others I don't remember. Some days I am lucky to remember my own name. Haven't heard from Ryan for quite a while.

Oh holy cow... its a long list

I met LBJ and a group out in Longmont Co area around 2006. Several others were there on business, don't recall who all was there but it is where I earned my CUT.

Appliance Brad and I have shot together on a few occasions

ersatzknarf and WarHorse and I have pillaged a few local gun shows

Tatortodd and I connected for lunch once in Calgary

Flash Guy and I met once for dinner in North Dallas once.

Met one of the attorneys here down in Tampa once for dinner, can see his face but screen name escapes me for some reason.

I've met with a few members that have since passed.

Met many guys at the first Sigforum Shoot in SE Mich at the Firing Line many years ago, then organized one myself a while back that had a nice turn out.

Everyone I've met so far has been a top shelf individual that I had a lot of fun with.

That shoot was in SC just outside of Charlotte and I'm sure there were other members there too. At a shoot in Winston Salem, there were probably 8 of us. I want to say PizzaBob was there, but I'm not sure if that's correct. I know I bought a bunch of 30 carbine reloading stuff off someone.

I was at the indoor shoot in Winston-Salem. I was pretty new at that time and didn’t know any names. I do remember Agony let me shoot a stainless 220 he had that was extremely accurate and someone brought a suppressed .22 lr pistol that was fun. It was really loud inside the range and nearly impossible to carry on a conversation. I wish I had learned and remembered more names.

I met redstone many years ago as I was driving through his neck of the woods from MA to LA. We had a wonderful time at the highway Mickey D's. Truly a great guy!

Met parallel when down in LA. Another awesome guy, and we had a wonderful meal at Drago's Seafood Restaurant.

Then I met a bunch of folks at a CO SIGforum shoot in Ft. Morgan. I met r2mach1, Sweden (haven't seen him on the forum in awhile), e26r....., James in Denver (also been missing from the forum), and I am sure a couple of others. We had a great day shooting all kinds of pistols and rifles. I believe it was r2 that let me shoot his suppressed .45, and I was hooked! All top notch people!

Wouldn't mind meeting more. The door's always open to SF members here at the ranch. Smile

Yes, two more names I remember thanks. I remember getting to shoot a suppressed P226. Don't remember who it belonged to.

Yeah, I enjoyed the CO SIGforum shoots, been to several of them. offgrid and fritz let me shoot their precision rifles and planted "the bug". alpine brought a full-auto black rifle that was fun to shoot!
