Officer did not get shot, he only got off one round.

This was in Napa County, California.

The Deputy contacted the driver of a vehicle parked the wrong way on a rural road at about 2300 hrs. The shooter got off two rounds from a .22 revolver. Both rounds missed. She moved to the back of the car and then mag dumped on him through the passenger window as he tried to start the car. He was DRT and the Deputy was unharmed.

He had several warrants and was previously arrested for assault on a peace officer. The handgun was stolen from the Bay Area. There was a .22 rifle in the back of the car.

Given the situation, she did great. Literally calm under fire, and decisively eliminated the threat.

She was calm and lucky as well. Probably a little too trusting also.

Video ends after the last shot was fired... but I'm wondering how fast she did a reload.... that would be the first thing to do after emptying that mag.

Why do some say she was lucky? The way I see it, this was a cop who likely had her spidey sense all tingling and was expecting shit to go down, and acted accordingly. Wow, give this lady a YUUGE medal! Another fucking piece of trash off the street.

Shooting at a cop is one of the dumbest criminal acts there is. The cops hunt cop killers mercilessly, and for good reason.
