Shooting through a windshield from inside the car—-bullet deflects upward

Shooting at a downward angle off of flooring or concrete—-bullet does not bounce up at the same angle, but will somewhat “hug” the surface.

Several articles exist to back this up, I’ll find the links and post them if asked to do so.

Thank you... I've taken 2 classes where we worked out of a car and were required to shoot through the windshield. (All but 2 of us were LEO's). When the instructor told us (in the first class) that we all called BS. He then demonstrated and we all also shot it ourselves. It seems counter intuitive but that is exactly what happened.

From what I can see in the video the only thing he was going to accurately hit was the roof of the house behind the thug, if he was lucky. He should be fired for cause immediately...

Awesome, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

Situation awareness is defined as a continuous extraction of environmental information, integration of this information with previous knowledge to form a coherent mental picture in directing further perception and anticipating future events. Simply put, situational awareness mean knowing what is going on around you.
