Looked like the cops already there (on foot behind the parked car) had shot the guy as he was already on the ground when the cop in the video shot from the car.

Yeah. Did he connect with those shots through the windshield? I am sure we will find out at some time. It looked a little rogue to me, but I am not a cop and in a position to judge.

Hometown boys doing good work! Glad they killified the POS.

Yo baby momma, if your rotten crotch fruit wasn't thuggin' and robbin' and poppin' caps at the po-po, he wouldn't be shot full of holes. By the looks of his rap sheet, that probably should have happened years ago.

If she and baby daddy wasn't POS's also this shit bird wouldn't be out committing felonies to be shot for. So STFU! STFU and die also.

I can't feel sorry for him, you or baby daddy. So STFU and get off my planet! Quit robbing my oxygen you ignorant POS!

I'm glad that no LEOs weren't hurt. They rendered first aid and checked on the POS before the LEO that was in the street down, so again STFU trash.

The thread started in Lvlle. Its how things are handled there. Clean, crisp, and quick. I don't see anything wrong except more shooters didn't get involved. Had he got less dead more could join the fun.

The mother didn't even tell us he went to church regularly and wanted to become a minister. Maybe one of you Lvlle guys could follow this and see how the election turns out if the father plays the race card and gets hisself elected. Don't know about the lottery thing, the thug lived in IN and the shooting in Lvlle. The city might not want to waste tax money across the river.

Regardless, I like it. Particularly the "lemme see your fuckin' hands." He couldn't they were still getting shot. Mothers comments on their dead thug kid should be banned. Always just raw emotion, and with a name like that she probably had no smarts.

Please, please, please. Let them retaliate. Torch a CVS.

You see, the antics in Ferguson will never play in Kentucky, and not even in liberal Louisville. Even if the lefty mayor decides that they need "room to destroy", they fail to take into account a couple of items.

1- Even if the mayor directs the police force, the mayor still does not control the Kentucky State Police. And that my friends is to their detriment. Even if LMPD were choked back, the state police would be in there so fast that wannabe gangsta's would be surrendering to CNN news crews. Any calls by the mayor to complain to state police headquarters would receive a hearty "Fuck off" from one of the deputy commissioners. And that is about it.

2- We have our own version of roof top Koreans. They're called heavily armed hillbillys. Yeah, you have to be real careful going Reginald Denny around here. Pulling people out of cars....good way to get shot in the face. Arson? It is specifically listed in the deadly force statue.

Guess what? Juries are made up of.....heavily armed hillbillys. In a full armed riot, you'd be hard pressed to even any interest in taking charges, and you'd never get grand jury indictments.

I would love to see Jumanji's parents to call for action. That would be 12 hours of must see TV.

I know most are happy with the outcome. I am unsure what to make of that video without more knowledge of what was transpiring prior to the officer showing up in the car shooting the video.

I understand the suspect had fired shots at the police. But would like more info on what was going on just as the officer showed up shooting from inside the vehicle.

Louisville has been heated recently they have had to smoke a few there recently.

While not this particular shooting it comes from one of the most recent.

Very refreshing to see this response from the family. Does not happen much.

Just as an aside, I'm no doctor, but I think ole Puky's left arm ain't functioning appropriately...Not that it really matters.

Not sure about the cop throwing rounds through the windshield, but I highly approve of the outcome. Send rounds toward 'anyone' and you deserve everything you have coming.

...Crowell said during the news conference that DeMonJhea Jordan did fire shots....

At the time of his death, Jordan was serving a one-year probation sentence for a level 6 felony of criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon, and a class A misdemeanor for carrying a handgun without a license, both in Clark County....

So in short, the perp committed an armed robbery, then shot at police, he is a repeat criminal, was on probation for his last crimes. Thusly mom and dad, blame yourselves and the kid that he is now dead.

Had you and he taken more responsibility in past years, you wouldn't be having this angst today. But blaming the police is the same dysfunctional thinking that caused the problem in the first place.

Did that LEO make the hits? I couldn't tell if other officers on foot were also firing.

No matter what, good work!

Not sure if he hit the suspect. But if he did it was impressive!!!

If there had been a Republican County Executive and a Republican Governor, along with a Republican President; Ferguson wouldn't have happened. All three for us for dimocraps. Governor Nixon talked one way to the troops and the command staff preparing but fucked them over when it went down on orders from Valerie Jarrett. The County Executive at the time didn't do shit. Of course we all know what Obummer and Holder's Just Us Department did.

I can tell you what I can see in the video in case you missed it. There was a ghetto blaster in slide lock on the sidewalk next to him after he had just committed a armed robbery, which was then followed up with him shooting his gun until empty at the officers that spotted him.

I don't know about shooting through the window, that may not be the best idea, or it could be a great move one the cops part. Just never seen it done in the past and I am no expert. I do know other than the unique circumstances of him shooting through the window, that guy obviously posed a grave threat to both the officers and any residents in the area, and it was extremely important to stop the threat and avoid the loss of life of a officer or innocent bystander. I personally am extremely happy that the only one killed or injured was the bad guy with a gun.

Thank you, jljones. I was hoping you'd show up in this thread. Glad to hear that this kind of shit won't fly in Kentucky.

I just finished the book written by the former Chief of the Ferguson PD. Pretty good read. Do you have any thoughts on him?

JJJones- you are making Kentucky more attractive as a retirement spot with each post about it.
