Humiliation can be greater than pain or death.

When after all of it, at the end of his life, it's nothing but looking up and waiting for a drop of water to fall... Blood Simple.

Will Cain pointed out the importance of holding liars to congress accountable. They aren't lying to congress, they are lying to America, and it is the only venue "the people" have to hold elected officials accountable.

Julie Kelly and a good chunk of the media are having a bit of "disagreement" regarding who "Person 3" is on the indictment. It mostly matters because the case is likely much stronger if it's Daniel Richman and NOT Andy McCabe. Richman is the guy Comey leaked to to get the special council(Mueller Probe) launched, which dragged on for 2.5 years and cost at least $30M.

Many may or may not remember that Mueller, who's now being treated for Parkinson's, couldn't seem to recall pretty much anything about his own "investigation" when questioned before congress. That's likely because Andrew Weissmann ran the special counsel investigation and Mueller was just an appointed figurehead.

quote:
On the left, Andrew McCarthy on Sept. 26

On the right, Andrew McCarthy on Sept. 29

Rather than own up to his presumption--which many people including myself did last week right after the indictment was announced--that Person 3 is McCabe and not his close friend Dan Richman...McCarthy is spinning his way out of the inaccurate reporting and continues to get it wrong.

“Former FBI Director James Comey pleaded not guilty to all charges after he was arraigned in federal court today.

The disgraced FBI chief's attorneys have also requested a jury trial for his case, set to begin January 5, 2026, after Judge Michael S. Nachmanoff read Comey his charges.

Comey, 64, who has professed his innocence, is facing charges of making false statements and obstructing a congressional investigation brought on by Donald Trump's beauty queen turned US Attorney Lindsey Halligan.

Comey stayed silent as he faced the judge. His not guilty plea is viewed as a strategic legal move, a way to challenge the charges without giving them credibility.

Testimony from Daniel Richman, a law professor who prosecutors claim was authorized by Comey to leak information, would result in 'likely insurmountable problems,' ABC News reported. …”

WTF does this mean? How strategic is it to plead "not guilty?"

If avoiding a PMITA fed.pen is the plan, pleading guilty or no contest isn’t a winning strategy.

beauty queen reference has NO place in this article. How come there was no reference to Comey and his singing Taylor Swift tunes?

The anti-American shit-stain and ALL of his cohorts need to suffer severe and permanent consequences for his crimes, after a fair trial of course in a Red and Conservative state.

With the strength of this evidence, I have to wonder what kind of deal Comey may be offered. He and his legal team rightly expect a NoVA jury to let him skate. But it's not a guarantee. A deal could be very tempting in the face of very strong evidence. I really relish this one. Comey, even if he goes to trial and skates, will be damaged goods forever. The schitstorm that would come out in the trial will be very bad for him.

I've always seen Comey as a bit of a pussy. I'm wondering if they didn't go after him first to get him to drop the dime on the real bad actors.
