Black coffee flavored coffee. I hate flavored coffee

If you like bold, you might like Vietnamese iced coffee, it's intense bold and sweet.

After the swapping the offending swill we had a discussion about trying new things and not being so rigid in what I like. I'll skip ahead and simply say f%$k no will always be my reply. If I try something new it is highly likely that it won't fly so why bother. Mind you I eat seafood, sushi, Vietnamese food, etc. so I wouldn't begin to say I'm a steak and potatoes guy but I like what I like. I'm sure many of you are the same?

Any who, back to the original question at hand. It piqued my curiosity about what other members prefer when it comes down to their daily brew?

In my mind there are two options, black or everything else, but I'm sure other's may think differently? So chime in and if you are a half-decaf, hazelnut with sprinkles kind of cupcake I'm sure we won't tease you that much. Big Grin

Black. Unless its really a bitter bean in which case one sugar or splenda to neutralize the bitterness not to make the coffee sweet.

I use coffee by Bones, McDonalds, Invader, Fire Department and Folgers 1850 Lantern Glow. None of them are bitter, so always black for me.

I am currently enjoying a Decaf Espresso and Decaf French Roast from Caribou Coffee. 1 lb. bags are $12 each...way cheaper and way better than woke-ass BRCC!! I will either put a splash of half and half or half a splash of half and half and a half splash of Carnation Italian Sweet Cream. Lots of "half" in that description. The ONLY coffee I will get when out of the house is Dunkin' and usually get a large with a double shot of cream.

I used to not stand black coffee it always had to have cream and sugar. I guess my tastes have change because now I prefer plain black coffee and darker the better. Same with tea used to be sweet tea only no nasty unsweetened tea know it’s only unsweetened tea for me.

Back when everyone was saying how bad refined sugar was I tried cutting back from my black with 2 sugars slowly until it was going to be black with no sugars. As I got near the end with no sugar I realized that I wasn't liking coffee as much and I really love coffee. Back to the 2 sugars ever since.

I like a mild flavored coffee. Fat free half and half with 3 Truvia.

I have a Moka Pot.
I grind my beans.
To me, putting anything in coffee is like using Ketchup on fries or steak sauce on a ribeye !

I'll accept your chanllenge.
Decaf. French Vanilla creamer. Sugar in the Raw.
What do I win?
Years ago I had a really bad bought of reflux and anxiety (possibly from drinking so much coffee) and gave up coffee for good.(?) Now, over a decade later I tried tea as a warm beverage but I think I've had complications w/ it, as in the past, after my kidney stone, my doctor said "no more tea". So just a few weeks ago for the first time in over a decade I tried coffee again, if you can call instant decaf, coffee. I missed it so much , I'm not complaining. Big Grin

If I'm picking, I'll take black coffee and dark roast from a company who understands the difference between properly roasted coffee from excessively burnt coffee.

If someone offers me a beverage, I'm more flexible and I'll drink coffee with bailey's or some other flavors, but they're not my preference.

Either Costco’s Kirkland brand Irish Cream, half & half, or black if the coffee is really good.

Harry Callahan : Every day for the past ten years, Loretta there's been giving me a large black coffee. Today she gives me a large black coffee, only it has sugar in it, a lotta sugar. I just came back to complain. Now, you boys put those guns down.

Crook : Say what?

Harry Callahan : Well, we're not just gonna let you walk out of here.

Crook : Who'se we sucka?

Harry Callahan : [slowly drawing his .44 Magnum] Smith and Wesson... and me.
