She has always been like that. 20 years ago when she and her sister were starting their father came into our range with them and wanted us to train them for concealed carry permits and give them private lessons

She thought she was hot shit back then and would not listen to instruction so I refused

Maybe Naomi Osaka was reduced to tears because her lifelong dream of playing Serena Williams became a nightmare. The reality of Williams's is just too much for Naomi. I am glad Williamns showed her ass. Most folks feel for Naomi, Williamns, not so much.

Serena loathes Maria Sharapova and Sloane Stephens. Gee I wonder why? Serena has a diva attitude and I have loathed her since the beginning. I’ve watched tennis since the McEnroe/Navratilova days and never disliked someone like I do her, and it is certainly not the color of her skin. Sloane Stephens handles herself a universe better. And I think prime to prime, Steffi Graf would have kicked her ass, Martina as well. She has pulled this stunt before so I am glad to see this getting the attention it deserves. She can’t hide from this episode like the previous ones. All her bullshit and her opponent was half black, half Japanese. Serena’s hypocrisy knows no bounds. Fuck her. Her opponent kicked her ass even before all this bullshit which is why she temper tantrumed. She knew she was going down. I can’t believe the people and organizations backing her and this behavior. Siding with this bitch against a 20 year old winning her first Grand Slam. 4 months until the next Slam and I’ll be rooting against her with gusto.

I agree with everything you wrote EXCEPT for one thing; you are correct in that she is not the hot, young thing BUT...she IS getting ALL the attention even before this latest incident. Big deal...she had a baby. There have been quite a few before her in ALL sports that had babies and continued their sport. Since the 2009 incident, I've rooted against her every time she's played. She's a racist bully and masks it behind that fake, soft voice in interviews. And she learned that attitude from her parents, ESPECIALLY her dad. I remember seeing him in the stands and hearing things he'd say and he was down right opposed to every one else's White Privilege. So the tainted fruit didn't fall too far from the tree. About the only thing I'll recognize about her is her athleticism. And she needs to find someone with some better ideas to replace those tutus she's wearing...they look AWFUL!!!

As for this year, I almost gagged at the masturbation displayed by how she was exalted up onto some pedestal because she's got a kid and is now a "mama". Hello??? I don't recall tennis ever fawning over Evan Goolagong or any other mothers preceding this coronated bitch. I had to turn that crap off...JSMH. And of course the media is going to drink her up. Osaka didn't get coached, didnt throw a tantrum, and played amazing. She won. The Open is hers.

this is what she got.

Serena is who she is. We shoudl expect nothing less.

But the way the tournament handled the award presentation and the comments made by the WTA were simply egregious. Inexcusable.

Won’t get any argument out of me. She was on in her press conference on how she was nearly dead this time last year during child birth Roll Eyes
Plenty of women have C sections. She was just using it to try and get more attention. She is an attention whore. For some reason she doesn’t believe she gets the respect she deserves, the praise, or the attention. Newsflash honey, you aren’t attractive. Attractive people always get more attention, because they are beautiful people. For the less attractive, millions and millions of dollars, and stacks of trophies, you know accomplishment, is good enough. For her, nothing is good enough. Her playing the sexism card is absolute bullshit. If there is one one area or sport where women are given their due, its tennis. Billy Jean did her crusade for that in the 70’s, so Serena you are 40 years late to that party. She didn’t even win this tournament and her prize winnings were 7 figures, what more do you want?

And that white privileged shit you mentioned, just pisses me off. For these sisters it’s been just the opposite, more attention, more praise, more of a spot light because they’re black, and from Compton. The media, tennis, etc, has been playing that card since day 1. It’s the same thing they do with Brady, always talking about the late round he was drafted, etc. after hearing it a couple times, nobody gives a shit, just go play, and let your results do your talking. And yes I agree, her father is a white hating pos sob. Even Serena dumped him along the way. The guy is an ass hole. These sisters have had the spot light since they started so any insistence of not being treated fairly, etc, is just bullshit, it’s the opposite really. Serena should have been banned from tournaments before with her actions, but always gets a slap on the wrist instead. She’s a hypocrite.

I don’t know who I am more tired of, this lady or Lequit. James runs his mouth and “stand up and speaks out” and they always try to bring down one of my heroes, Michael Jordan, because he didn’t run his mouth and be a SJW. The past few years have been a constant whose the best, LeQuit, or MJ? Please, not even a discussion. MJ dominated the game like no other player in history. He didn’t pass when it was on the line, he wanted the ball, wanted to guard someone hard, wanted to steal, the more pressure, the more on the line, he was there. What does James do, pass, quit, leave said team. Give me a break. One of Michael Jordan’s qualities or legacies, is he didn’t get wrapped up in bullshit off the court. Black people say he never did anything off the court. Why should he? He let his basketball do the talking, inspired millions around the world, provided entertainment, artistry, to millions around the world, and for the most part, kept out of the news and bullshit. He increased attention to the nba, raised all nba salaries, opened up endorsements from everyone, made every basketball player better, with Pippen, Iverson, and even Ray Allen just getting inducted into the hall of fame, stating like so many others, that Jordan was the reason he made it there, because they wanted to be like Mike.

Serena, LeQuit, Kaperfuck, just tired of it. Shut up, play your sport, and do it well. You can inspire people more with what you do on the field, on the court, and how you carry yourself off it. Want to do something for your race, start donating large sums of money for poor people to go to college, donate to medical funds to solve cancers and medical issues. Want to do something about black shootings, do it away from the field, in a positive manner, with some g damn respect. The United States gave you everything you have. Woe is me I’m black, really? We have a country, an environment, where you can bounce, throw, or hit a ball, make millions and millions of dollars, with freedom to do what you want within a law. I never saw Michael Jordan take a knee (His older brother served in the military for 30+ years), never heard him cry and whine that the Pistons, Celtics, or Knicks kicked his ass even after they mugged him and knocked him to the ground. He didn’t whine about the rules. He got stronger, worked harder, and prevailed. Take a lesson. It is insulting for these current so called athletes to bitch and moan about all this stuff while they live in mansions, with expensive cars, 8 and 9 figure bank accounts, while their own people starve (white people are starving too) and have no money for education access.

textbook!

I think the only reason she didn't pull the race card was because Osaka is minority, too.

I always respected her and her sister, given their accomplishments, but not following them at all. Until now...

I heard they booed the winner, Osaka???

Who's going to tell Serena that the greatest athlete of all time is a middle age, slightly over weight, white guy who sells women's shoes at a mall in Chicago?

He was my sports hero growing up....which probably explains a lot of things now that I think of it...

I fell in love with tennis in 1989 watching the French Open...ahh the clay courts. I played a little in high school but nothing really competitive. Throughout the years I tried to follow the French open and Wimbledon but as the years went on it just didn't seem the same (never cared for the US Open).

Looking at this I have no regret drifting away from the sport.

SW's behavior was clearly that of a typical bully. First she tried to intimidate the umpire. When he wasn't having any, she quickly switched to victimhood.

I couldn't believe how she was allowed to take over the post-game awards ceremony. Blubbering and telling the crowd "We'll get through this."

Get through what? She lost a match, nobody died. But she managed to make the ceremony all about her, not the actual victor.

Well, the victor is about to sign the biggest apparel endorsement deal in women's' tennis history.
She kicked SW's ass on the court, and now off the court.
