I’m looking for advice for which way to go.

I’m not looking for the cheapest option but more for the best.

Polyaspartic / Polyurea Systems are the modern gold standard for professional installers.

If it's an existing garage that stuff has been dripping off cars/tires into the porous concrete then you're going to want it diamond grinded first.

This is what I had done to my garage almost 3 years ago. Not cheap but I have no complaints on how it looks, and it still looks new. No obvious signs of wear. I was told at the time that epoxy is more likely to yellow, more prone to wear and less flexible than polyaspartic.

Same here. We had ours done about 5 years ago and no sign of wear.

Good friend of mine did epoxy, had tire "sticking/pulling" issues as well as staining in very short order.

My cousin had the Polyaspartic/Polyurea System, done more than 10 years ago and it looks as new as it did the day the contractors pulled out of the drive with the check.

I did a "Race Deck System", (it was fine for the 5 years I lived in the home).
If I were in a home I was going to be for a long time, I would not think twice on going with the Poly-thing floor.

Are you going to be working on cars in the garage? Whatever paint or coating you pick, be sure it's car fluid proof, especially against brake fluid.

This is a AI video of what my brother is planning on doing on a new 20 x 12 pad he poured. The science seems sound and for around $50 in materials to boot.

We had the fading, peeling epoxy ground off and polyaspartic put down when we bought our house. Four year old home and the epoxy had been done twice already. After a year with the poly it still looks new.

I "glowed up" my garage as a pandemic project 5 years ago and went with Polyaspartic after diamond grinding the concrete. I do major automotive work in my garage and the floor is holding up extremely well. It's very abrasion resistant, spills of anything wipe up very easily and it can even be touched up if you drop something heavy and chip the concrete (don't ask). Just keep a small batch of the original flake and you can mix up some coating if you need it. It makes your concrete pretty much non-porous so I keep a floor squeegee handy to sweep away any standing water. I also skipped the anti slip additive some folks recommend, the flake does a nice job of putting enough texture into the floor.

I will add that if you happen to drop a smallish screw the flake does an awesome job of hiding it. I've spent much time crawling around trying to find dropped wood screws.

Alluded to earlier: be sure it has some texture or other non-slip property.

Consider flake options as well. Some were going to make it impossible to find a nut/nail/etc. dropped on floor.

In the end I went with a color called "Aubie". War Eagle!

Today was the installation day for my polyurethane garage floor.

I like that color.

I have almost the exact color scheme.

The only issue is when you drop small parts/screws/nuts/etc on the floor.

They virtually disappear.

Looks great, I need to do that, we went with a stain for concrete, the DIY coating failed within several months the heat on tires especially in the summer is brutal, just pulled it right up.

Neighbor did his looks really good...

When I moved in to my house 2.5 years ago, I had the garage done before I moved the first item over from my condo, no need in fucking about with moving shit in only to move it back out.

Went with the same color scheme as the OP and it still looks great. I'm very happy with the results and everyone who sees it, loves it. I park 1 car in the garage and I use the other half for everything else. I would definitely recommend.

My mom had her garage floor treated (not sanded or ground) and then painted and to be honest, it was a piece of shit right out of the gates. It pulled up from tires and just didnt hold up.
